In a witty, optimistic, and passionate speech that showed why he is the politician in D.C. that most resonates with the Tea Party and conservative grassroots, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Thursday said he believed Obamacare will be completely repealed.
"I am absolutely convinced that we are going to repeal every single word of Obamacare," Cruz, a potential presidential contender who is leading among Tea Party voters in nearly every 2016 presidential poll, said to a standing ovation.
Speaking at an event honoring the five-year anniversary of the Tea Party movement that was sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots, Cruz said that Democrats are "running fast from Obamacare." He noted even the late-night comedians have turned on the disastrous law that he has worked relentlessly to try to defund.
He quipped that he was repeating himself when speaking about not listening to what Democrats and the media have to say and even impersonated Jay Leno's mockery of Obamacare. But his main message, consistent with what he has said before, is that a grassroots revolution similar to the one that ushered in President Ronald Reagan after Jimmy Carter's failed domestic and foreign policies in the late 1970s is stirring outside of the Beltway today....

And indict the usurper and hang him for treason!
Talk about Balls!....lets sit a back and watch!
JIMHO...He could start a movement
Almost forgot what they sounded like.
Man Crush. I’ll admit it.
As the great Steve King said, “God bless America.Now, let’s save it”
Go, Ted, go!
GO CRUZ!
Amen and pass the ammunition.
He would get Democrat votes too!
We need to pray for this man and other true conservatives. The left hasn’t seen people this excited since Reagan, and they, along with some rinos, are terrified of him.
Repeal and ABOLISH FOREVER!
“Good luck” if it is possible.
However it seems that both the Rat and the Pub side of politics has devolved into a series of dueling knee jerks. We have to look at what actually happened with the pea packer (PPACA or Obamacare).
The visible part of it is the atrocious way it attempts to wave a magic wand over the healthcare systems of America and provide them to everybody in a way that was promised to be better than the status quo but ended up much worse. As I kept pointing out it would have been cheaper to issue limited health plans to the welfare set and kept the rest the same.
ONE invisible part of it, which I was not aware of until I actually worked a job which it impinges upon, is actually a pretty benign revamping of the information technology infrastructure for health care networking. Yanking that in midstream “just for the principle of the thing” and not doing something to fill the void will do more harm than good.
A moratorium law (which brings the monster under the control of law rather than the tender mercies of an illegally acting White House) followed by bills to deconstruct it, is the only really sane method.
I couldn’t agree less.
The only value that the total failure of Obamacare had brought to America is the indelible proof that Government has absolutely no business in anything to do with the Medical and Insurance fields.
ASAP, the US Federal Government must withdraw from all medical “help” programs such as :
* Obamacare;
* Medicare;
* Medicaid;
* Medical assistance for pregnant women:
* Home nursing for Seniors;
* Disability Payments;
* Emergency Room payments;
* etc, etc, etc.
Possible exceptions are the Centers for Disease Control, All Military Hospitals and Services, and the Food and Drug Administration.
The RINO’s will have heart attacks.
Have you studied the bill?
If not, please do not honk out your ignorance for all to see.
And I wouldn’t disagree that state programs should be all-state, and yet states will probably wish to be able to reciprocate. So the need for the standards would remain, even with Washington financial participation completely gone (and as you point out, you want it to NOT be gone in the case of things like veterans). You’d at best be doing a cosmetic change, yanking it out of PPACA and re-enacting it in the repeal bill, to avoid the unnecessary upheaval.
Knee jerk.
they should do research and regulate food and drugs. As for the hospitals, uh, they should get someone who knows the business because they don’t.
people my age who are working should be able to buy coverage that they need of whatever ‘metal level’, or metric you wish to use. Its not ok to just say I should take my pill because
the insurance companies avoid my risk. One gets that social message enough as it is.

The “Bill” says:
* On July 6, Every Year the US Treasury will be empty, again:
* Depending on the kindness of strangers begins July 7, Every Year, again;
* 17.8 Trillion dollars on the National Debt Clock and counting on 2-27-14.
We can no longer expect our children and grandchildren and their descendants to pay for our greedy National Poverty Debt.
