In a witty, optimistic, and passionate speech that showed why he is the politician in D.C. that most resonates with the Tea Party and conservative grassroots, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Thursday said he believed Obamacare will be completely repealed.
"I am absolutely convinced that we are going to repeal every single word of Obamacare," Cruz, a potential presidential contender who is leading among Tea Party voters in nearly every 2016 presidential poll, said to a standing ovation.
Speaking at an event honoring the five-year anniversary of the Tea Party movement that was sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots, Cruz said that Democrats are "running fast from Obamacare." He noted even the late-night comedians have turned on the disastrous law that he has worked relentlessly to try to defund.
He quipped that he was repeating himself when speaking about not listening to what Democrats and the media have to say and even impersonated Jay Leno's mockery of Obamacare. But his main message, consistent with what he has said before, is that a grassroots revolution similar to the one that ushered in President Ronald Reagan after Jimmy Carter's failed domestic and foreign policies in the late 1970s is stirring outside of the Beltway today....

HERE, HERE!!
And fine, what does that have to do with what I brought up?
Nothing at all, as far as I can see. Only a distraction meant to prove that Graewoulf is right about “something.”
What should NOT be done is to continue to “fix” what should never have begun in the first place.
Now that there is absolute prove that Government is a total failure in the Insurance and Medical fields it is time to declare the above mentioned programs bankrupt, and sell them off to the highest bidder, with no Government or mandatory strings attached.
To continue as we are, and expect different results compared to the past is insane.
” - - - they should do research and regulate food and drugs. - - - - “
Why?
Who would you choose to undergo a medical procedure or new drug:
A politically controlled “research” bureau, or The Mayo Clinic?
Beyond “knee jerk!”
The States are being crushed by the damn Federal Mandates on “Health” laws, and unlike the Feds, the States do not have their own money printing presses, yet.
Succession will solve a lot of these politician-imposed problems.
There is no benign part of this monster.
Kill it. Kill it all. Kill it all and any laws related to it.
My medical info is private, no need to ‘network it’.
Usually, I am in agreement with you.
But your replies, posts in this thread cause me to recall a thread yesterday about ‘moles’ and trolls surreptitiously (or not) infiltrating forums to spread discord.
There is no good part to this freedom, job, and middleclass destroying monster.
The Terminator.
!
People are so black-and-whiting the question. Could it be respected that the Democrats have “vitamin pilled” the measure (opposite of poison pill) so that something of note will happen if the whole law is canceled by another law. It would take some analysis to figure out what, but perhaps it’s that the Veterans Administration suddenly gets incompatible with private medical practice. Nice move, GOP.
Please, law has ceased to be simple. Vindicating your knee doesn’t mean vindicating righteousness. At least if something is going to take it out, identify those “vitamin pills” and either restate them, or leave them active.
If you’re a covered veteran needing to get treated in an emergency and don’t mind the likelihood of getting dunned by the private hospital who won’t get paid back by the VA, then sure just blindly blast.
Networking does not mean advertising to the world like Facebook. It might be likened to changing the address format for snail mail. Are you going to tell them to send your material only by special Pony Express courier or something?
Your knee is not your head.
I have already pointed out how a non-orderly backing out of PPACA will probably poison things we never wanted poisoned.
where's his "alternative plan" to replace Obamacare???
/sarc
I believe him, he is a true believer. Does an America worthy of such a President still exist?
you don’t understand bureaucracies. they are ‘politically controlled’ by definition. there is no bureaucracy that isn’t ‘political’. politics are self generated within every group.
(unless it’s the CCCP of the Stalin era).
how does Mayo get paid? they’ll want to be paid..
Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.
Next payday I’m sending Cruz a check.
