I wonder if Iron Dome can see a cruise missile if it were flying low?

one can only wonder just how long Jerusalem will find it possible to put up with the 40,000+ (some say 50,000) other missiles of various types and degrees of lethality and danger that these IslamoNazi terrorists possess (and threaten to launch at Israeli schools and farms and cities and pizza parlors and shopping malls...)

Israel is more worried about all the short range mobile ballistic missiles Iran has obtained from China. Its not for nothing that Iran supports Assad in Syria.

War is coming, or maybe I should say, the war goes on. I would hope the Israelis are not sitting around waiting for these weapons to be used, but are actively looking for them, and destroying the weapons when they find them.

“I wonder if Iron Dome can see a cruise missile if it were flying low?”

Typically, no. Antimissile systems have to detect incoming devices. A cruise missile will likely spend much of its flight below the ground clutter. It may pop up to clear various obstacles but the radar sweep would have to be passing that area at that moment otherwise the blip will be too short and the software will likely screen it out as noise.

How many of the 20,000 MANPADs given to al Qaeda by
Obama-Clinton- Petraeus were transferred to Hisb’allah?

and How many are now in the USA through the
Congressionally-approved-OPEN-BORDER-FOR-TERRORISTS?

The problem that no one really talks about is the Achilles’ heel of the MANPADS — its battery. All MANPADS such as Stinger (FIM-92) and Strella (SA-7) have a shelf life on their batteries. Storage conditions, especially extremes of heat and cold, can severely affect battery life. Without a good battery, your MANPADS is just so much expensive junk. The question that should be asked is how fresh were the batteries supplied with the missiles?

From a technical point of view, couldn’t an external battery with a couple of wires attacted to the internal battery’s contacts work?

Where are they keeping it? It needs to have a little explosive “accident” before they get the opportunity to launch it.

I don't believe so, but I've never tried to hot wire a battery for a MANPADS.
