Oh I’m sure Poland is keeping an eye on them, but at the same time, they know the vast majority of Ukrainians don’t support them.
And make no mistake, Poland will defend Western Ukraine if it comes to that.
“Good, so youre condemning Russian military invasion of Crimea.”
Sure, just like I condemn Assad’s actions in Syria (to use a similar example where people cried out for action).
As repeatedly posted, Russia is wrong.
In fact, Russia’s wrongness goes back to Stalin, his starving of Ukranians, and his replacement of Ukrainians with Russians.
I do not, however, support the opposition in Syria or the Ukraine. The leaders in both groups of opposition are as bad.
It’s not a binary decision.
No I don’t blame them, I just can’t figure out why they would prefer a Leader who is on record saying, the break up of the soviet bloc was the worst mistake of modern history. Do they want to go back to those day’s, because Putin sure does want that. As for those few appointments, well I guess it’s Like former Black Panther member Eric Holder being AG, or Keith Ellison who was sworn in with the Koran, being a member of congress. I don’t like it, but the sky has yet to fall.
“This aint 1939.”
I wouldn’t be too sure about that. At any time it could be. No one thought that this Ukraine/Russia dispute would arise at the drop of a hat, but it did. And the Obama regime wants to weaken our military on the grounds we don’t need a large force now, as all the world is in hunkey dorey shape, doncha know. Obama is the worst possible President we could have at this point in history.
It just gets nuttier all the time
The borders moved, not the populations.
Anywho, just about all the ethnic Germans were ethnically cleansed out of Polands new boundaries after WWII.
Not so. I lived in Warsaw (1981-83). In cities like Poznan there were still ethnic Germans, many of them speaking German. Ethnically cleansed?
It should be noted that after the war Russian (and Ukrainian) borders were also moved west to incorporate a good bit of what had been Poland before the war.
In Finland, the Soviets took Karelia and it still remains under the control of the Russians. Lots of borders have been moved again and again.
Protests continue in the Ukrainian capital after an endorsement from US Senator John McCain but at the heart of the movement in Kiev lies an extreme right wing party with links to the BNP.
Senator McCain later waved to protesters from the stage in Independence Square during a mass rally in Kiev, standing with Oleh Tyahnybok, leader of the anti-Semitic Svoboda party.
McCain also met with Syrian “Rebels.”
What an idiot.
Dear Lord! British Muslims? Was this a survey?
Wat did Her Majesty's government say of this??? I know they've spoken out and indeed prosecuted the English Defense League but seriously, this is far, far worse than anything the EDL has said!
Actually, the turn of events: Hagel’s announced cuts, followed in less than a week by this crisis, is as bad as an Algore outdoor news conference on the perils of Manmade Global Warming, while a blizzard bears down on the meager crowd of shivering fanatics and journ-O-lists before him.
The timing is just delicious!
It almost seems like a Higher Power is having a joke on the Joker, Obama!
I think most Americans are now going to tell Hagel, “Um, not so fast!” Look at the uproar over the Ryan/Murray budget deal that was going to screw over military retirees. I’m seeing the Hagel announcement as Obama jumping the shark in most people’s minds, if not already there.
Thanks AdmSmith.
The author’s just another one of Putin’s shills.
Ukraine: Israeli Special Forces Unit under Neo-Nazi Command Involved in Maidan Riots

That looks like a pretty nasty bunch of thugs to me.
Both neo-Nazis and new fascists in the Federation (previously communist) are evil and anti-Isreal. Hopefully, none of the minority variants of the two will get popular in the Ukraine. They should be closely watched by all and prevented from indulging in expansionism.
Some of the more sane and believable sources (Orthodox rabbis) have also observed and recorded neo-Nazi behaviors by Svoboda members.
Corporation don’t want to be. Politicians propose laws to get rid of or hinder business then write a campaign fundraising letters to those companies saying hey, if you don’t pony up, this law will pass.
Over time, boards demanded something for the government “mob” payments.
But is IsraPundit a Russian mouthpiece? Or are they looking out for Jews when they see a problem?
And is Channel 4 London a Putin media outlet? They, too, see anti-Semitism in the new Ukrainian administration.
The jackass author of that piece claims to be against anti-semitism, then accuses Jews of working for neo-Nazis in Ukraine, and of course, those very same Jews are the new Nazis themselves, as they proved by their genocidal atrocities in Gaza. It’s just agitprop.
I’m reading different sources now saying that there’s an anti-Semitic element that’s been permitted into the new Ukrainian government.
Ukraine gets its anti-Semitism from a long history of being that way.
Even “Fiddler on the Roof” was based in the Ukraine. “In Sholem Aleichem’s original TEVYE stories, Anatevka is near the fictional village of “Boyberik” which is based on Boyarka (a town in Ukraine near Kiev). “
Finding an anti-Semite in the Ukraine shouldn’t be a surprise. One would hope, though, that they had grown enough not to have anti-semites be part of a new government.
But Svoboda IS anti-Semitic, and they ARE part of the new government. Whatever other difficulties the article might have, it still points that out, and IsraPundit in the few years I’ve looked at hasn’t veered from a pro-Israel and pro-Jewish perspective.
