Even the bible says women should keep attractive for the husbands. That Mom look covers up either a rock bottom self esteem or a selfishness(F him, he does not appreciate me so I will look like I want to). If you don't put time into your appearance(get a decent haircut, wear some cosmetics,take care of your skin, wear clothes that flatter, and maintain a level of fitness and sex appeal) well your man will find a woman who will. Its simple biology. I won't date a woman who wears Mom jeans, it masks an underlying problem(s).
I have heard all the excuses..Billy has soceer and I work 50 hours..blah, blah...ask your husband if he would help out with the kids and the chores so you could get to the gym and make up a grocery lists not chock full of processed crap adding to your ever burgeoning derriere? I bet most husbands if they knew the payoff was a hot, sexy, attractive, well maintained wife would walk across broken glass for that. Or Moms everywhere can do it like they have been, be at a 25BMI, over stressed, grumpy and complaining and wind up in divorce court. Yes he loves you for you mind, your devotion, those are great clichés and you may even believe them but show me a Mom jean wearing pudcapper and I'll show you a quick divorce after the youngest one turns 18.
The banksters and the Chamber of Cronies remember what Palin did to the oil companies in Alaska, and send their disinformant seminar posters out to try to mold public opinion. We have more than a few frequenting the financial threads on FR.
Palin is simply too straightforward for DC, anyway. No one who speaks her mind so freely is going to be allowed to play with the big boys - and without a fair amount of big boy money, winning the nomination is simply impossible.
I don’t understand it either. I hear a lot of the same comments about her that were once made about Reagan.What other conservative right now embodies conservative ideals and is not afraid to articulate them? I like Cruz and Lee, but Sarah is more fearless. I don’t care what books she has read, or how many colleges she attended, or that she isn’t some brilliant academic. That’s what the media portrays Obama to be, and he is a disaster. Give me a leader with courage and sound core beliefs any day, over Boehner, McConnell, Cantor, McCain, Grahamnesty or the other GOP cowards any day!

I work in a left of center Organization. One day at lunch that very subject came up. Two Guys sitting at a table with a hald dozen or more women. I was asked what I thought. Well, me being outspoken and in my early 30s spoke my mind.
Very similar to what you posted. Man o Man. Out came the long knives....
Anyhow 15-20 years later most of the closeted feminist at that table are divorced, suffering from the Middle age spread syndrome, pudcap hairdos...
Their big thing is now they can’t get their kids to move out and they can’t find any decent guys to date. LOL
What about pictures, like the one of Obama riding a girl’s bike, or hanging curtains, or throwing a baseball like a five year old, or recoiling at a judo flip, next to George W Bush clearing brush, Reagan with a chainsaw, or Palin hunting? These are actual public photos. The American people can form their own conclusions. I don’t buy into most of the Obama conspiracies, but the fact that he is a weak, incompetent leader with a distinctly antibiotics, neoconservative UnAmerican world view.
The thing I would have feared most from Bob Gibson was a fastball at my head!
On every occasion where “O” could have demonstrated SOME character and conviction or certainly a command of the issues... he foundered and failed, before the entire watching world!
Now, he is universally held to be an incompetent and unprincipled poseur.
THAT is his legacy! A great many of us knew this about him from the start, so this dismal perfomance is vindication as well as embarassment!

Of course you are, Mr. I got “momtothree” all figured out. Where should I start? First, thank you for your pseudo marriage counseling advice. How long have you been married? Me? Oh, 23 splendid years. Secondly, I do look good. In fact, I look great. I take care of my appearance. However, do you really suggest that I wear pearls to do my daily activities? Sure... I may look all hot and sexy wearing a mini skirt and high heels while I scrub the floors, cook a roast for dinner or drop the kids off to practice but why? Why would that be necessary?
For what it is worth, pburgh01... my husband and children adore me. I adore them. My life is taking care of them. “.. your man will find a woman who will”. My husband and I committed ourselves in marriage in front of God, our family and friends. He in no way, shape, or form is the type of man who would ever “trade” in his wife and the mother of his children for some sexy, thong wearing babe. Unlike YOU, Mr. I got the whole marriage idea figured out because I “won’t date a woman who wears Mom jeans”... grow the hell up. AFTER, and only after, YOU find a woman to marry for as long as my husband and I are married.. can you offer ANY advice to me. For what it is worth, the oldest is about to turn 18... my husband and I have never been happier. Why? He loves me and I love him. Have a good day and oh yeah....good luck on that whole marriage counseling thing you got going on.
