I was hoping one of the Texas FReepers would start a thread, but didn't see one. The Texas primary is today..several interesting races, but the BIG ONE involves Cornyn. When you vote...let us know what you heard/saw? What's the weather like down there?
Voted in Hill Country at about 10:30. There was only signage for local and county candidates; no statewide. Poll workers outnumbered voters. Two voters voting no Cornyn, No Dewhurst, No Bush.
Stovall, Abbot, Person, Watts ping for later at work.

At least you have some GOP fools holding office. They will vote the right way much of the time.
In Minnesota, my US Senators are Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar - both Dems. My governor is Mark Dayton, a heavily medicated trust funder Democrat.
If some polls are kept open late, due to the weather, do they delay reporting all the results? How soon do you normally get results after the polls close? Also, what's the best website to check results as they come in?

What state are you in? It’s 36º and raining, just outside of Houston, right now. It looks like it’s supposed to get down to 36º between now and 4p. Then, it will go up to a balmy 37º... and showers, from 5p - 10p (or, til polls close).

Question: if Stockman forces Cornyn into a runoff, then quits the race, is there still a runoff? Between Cornyn and the one that came in below Stockman’s count?
Good question. I don't know the answer, though. This is the relevant election code but a quick skim didn't reveal anything on point of your what-if.
Cornyn is establishment. Establishment is a cuss word in Texas . I think its 50/50 for a runoff. There is tremendous reaction in Texas to his failure to defund obamacare and run and hide.The small turn out means die hard conservatives win because they are more motivated. Cornyn is ban news.
There are no Republicans in the Austin Metro— Maybe 2?
I’ve read a few articles this morning & listening to Patriot..according to media, Cornhole is going to sail through primary.
