No, one or the other.
Shamnesty Paul is a bridge to nowhere.
The US desperately needs term limits. But 24 years is way too long.
I could vote for 12 years total.
Actually, truth be told, I hope someday we whittle down the fedgov to the point that legislating becomes a part time job with most of that time spent telecommuting from home. Trips to DC would be few.
Let's swing the pendulum from the fedgov to the states.
It worked well for Kentucky for centuries. Why should he get special treatment?
Can we please quit with the “3rd Party - teach ‘em a lesson” approach to National Suicide?!?!?!
Just nominate a CONSERVATIVE and then everybody get behind them!!!
3rd Party tantrums only serve to accelerate the road to America’s destruction.
To all you Freepers thinking about voting for Paul in the primary. If he wins the nomination, I won’t vote for him. Two reasons: Chuck Hagel and John Kerry.
Repeal the 17th Amendment to the US Constitution; then there’ll be no need to “run” for the Senate.
Now I know he is a jerk. Too many McCainiacs in the Republican Party.
DO NOT TRUST RAND PAUL!
I don’t have a problem with this. Laws vary from state to state.
Holy cr@p! Can you think of a more effective way to show a lack of confidence in yourself!!?
“I’m a long shot for Prez so I’d better hedge my bets so I can at least stay in elected office.”
Rand Paul’s feet of iron mixed with clay are really on display this time.
I thoroughly disagree. I want my candidate all in...go for broke.
kinda like trying to ride two horses at the same time, ain’t it ?
Scoundrel-ish, law or not. That’s one of those things you just don’t do. It’s public office, not a game of cards.
Can’t stand Paul, and this just makes him the worst.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much, Rand. You ensured the folks most likely to vote for you for President hate your guts because you love Chinless McConnell.
If this guy gets loose in the exec. branch we r in trouble.
I say have Paul lead the national leadership of the ACLU or be the next Governor of California.
I will not vote for him
Here we go again. Dozens of republicans running for the same office and we wind up with the same crappy one getting picked to run by the GOP Elite.
> If things go Mr. Pauls way, he could win the GOP presidential nomination, then run in the fall 2016 general election for the presidency and to retain his U.S. Senate seat. If he wins the presidency and the Senate re-election bid, he would relinquish his Senate seat.
And if he takes out some aromatherapy crystals, chops them up, and snorts them, he’ll wake up in a bathtub on Mars.
