GREELEY, Colo. -- If you mention the word "secession" most people think of the South during the Civil War. But today, a new movement is gaining steam because of frustration over a growing, out-of-control federal government.
A number of conservative, rural Americans are taking about seceding and creating their own states, meaning a new map of the United States of America could include the following:
A 51st state called Jefferson, made up of Northern California and Southern Oregon A new state called Western Maryland A new state called North Colorado These are real movements gaining traction with voters across the country. Jeffrey Hare runs the 51st State Initiative in Colorado, an effort to fight an out-of-control legislature trying to ram big government policies down the throats of voters.
"We're at this point of irreconcilable differences," Hare told CBN News.

Don’t forget the state of Lincoln. It has been discussed for years to have Northern Idaho, Eastern Washington, and Western Montana succeed from their current states and form a new state. Each of those regions have felt slighted in the past by the more populated areas of their current states. I’m sure room could be made for Eastern Oregon if they’d like to join.
I prefer a purge.
All states north and east and including New York should be purged from the United States. They are Neo europa and are not really American. There are many conservatives there but the purge will give them the motivation to move to escape the hoards of Neo European trash that will want to move north
The fundamental problem with new states is that we conservatives will never get along. We are constantly fussing and arguing. Libs are natural slaves so they suppress any original thoughts, agree about everything, and comply. FR is a microcosm of a new state.

A few weeks ago on this website, it was posted that California will be voting to break up the state into seven separate states, because it has gotten too big.

We need to do this all over the country. We need to get libtards geographically concentrated along the coasts. Then we kick them out of the United States. There is no other way we can hope to survive as decent people.
Secession of counties and regions from states may lead to the secession of states and regions from the union. The important thing is that groups of people are thinking more about limited government and self determination. A small free state could become a magnet for entrepreneurs, small business, and self reliant individuals; they could create their own bank (like ND) and allow for transactions based in PMs. A small free state could go further, faster especially if decidely rural and populated by conservatives. Leftists could be discouraged as long as the state promoted gun rights, home schooling/ vouchers, family values, and discouraged welfare.
Mountainous regions probably offer the best chance or resisting federal invasion; just look how long Switzerland has survived as a confederation.

The Einsatzgruppen murdered innocents. Women, children, the old and infirm. Their victims were hardly enemies of anyone or anything. Their victims destroyed nothing.
The Einsatzgruppen were pure evil. The Einsatzgruppen themselves deserved to be destroyed.

General Friedrich Paulus, commander of the Sixth Army, despised the Einsatzgruppen, and told his commanders that he did not want them anywhere near his army, and that if his commanders ordered their troops to fire on Einsatzgruppen they (his commanders) would have his full support.

I have proposed that we take the land mass east of I-81 and north of I-64 and just haul it out into the North Atlantic. Perhaps they will drift east and rejoin their European comrades.
Most people seem to think this thread is about states seceding from the Unties States ala the Confederate traitors, which is a pipe dream.
It’s actually about creating new states from good parts of crappy states, an idea I love but is also difficult to achieve.
