I wish Putin was on our side and Obama on Their side! Putin runs IQ circles around our community organizer. If he couldn’t see access to space becoming a problem, the he has NO BUSINESS being POTUS...what a disgrace. Heck, I saw that one coming...anybody could! (Well almost anyone).

You heard it on FR first.
* Since POS Soetoro-Obama hit the famous RESET BUTTON on Russia, the NASA Space Program has had to be “dependent on the kindness of strangers” from Russia. Hopefully, our astronauts will be able to borrow food and vodka from the Russians while they wait for “Catchup” Kerry to resolve this Ukrainian “investment.”

Effectively, they will take over OUR space station.

>> A billion dollars buys tens of thousands of Democrat votes.

That’s right, and to do what? Buy more Democrat votes.

And they’re brilliant, don’t ya’ know.

Whoops, looks like Uncle Sam forgot about this

OR - they remembered it, and are just waiting for the news to quiet down so Putin can get back to work in the Ukraine.

OK, only being partially sarcastic. I like having the Russians play in the NHL.

Ovechkin's got skill, but he's a floater. If he actually tried, he would be great.

Perhaps it is time to observe that there are no superpowers anymore.

America was supposedly the lone superpower remaining. But are we, really?

We can’t go to space anymore. We have lots of military equipment but we have forgotten how to win wars. We have most powerful economy but we won’t let it work. Perhaps there are no superpowers anymore.

Well, if Obama’s NASA can no longer hitch rides with the Russians, perhaps NASA can have Obama’s Muslim friends give them rides to space. After all, they have a monopoly on flying carpets, don’t they? Of course perhaps those carpets can no longer fly in all this global warming.

Now you're just being silly. We all know the entire fleet was grounded back in the '80's. Ozone Hole.

In this unlikely case the U.S. can restore the technology in a half year. It’s 60 years old. No problem at all.

Oh yeah, I had forgotten about the Ozone causing the significant weakening of the carpet fibers followed by OSHA declaring carpets were no longer safe for flying.

It’s hard to keep up with this bunch making everything illegal. Ayn Rand had a point.

“It would make a great campaign issue for the GOP to remind people that Obama killed the shuttle program.”

Definitely — especially combined with pointing out that Kennedy was the one who expanded the space program and got us to the moon and doing a comparison between Obama and Kennedy.

"...OSHA declaring carpets were no longer safe for flying..."

IIRC, it was the legislation that mandated they had to have restraint systems and airbags, coupled with the union carpet maker demands that did them in.

Sigh. If only people had listened to me and put all their efforts in developing flying cars.

Hahahahaha....talk about making their heads explode.

They tout about how great Kennedy was for having the vision to get the space program going, and in the next breath, have to talk about how great Obama is to have the vision to end it.

Even a small whiplash injury might make it all worthwhile.
