A family of four was hospitalized after ingesting meat laced with LSD bought from Wal-Mart on Monday, Tampa police said.
Tampa Police Chief Jane Castor said during a news conference on Thursday that the family, including a pregnant mother, her two children and her boyfriend, started experiencing hallucinations, dizziness, rapid heart rates and difficulty breathing shortly after dinner.
The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office determined the family consumed bottom round steak bought from a Wal-Mart located at 1505 N. Dale Mabry in Tampa, which was contaminated with LSD.

This Walmart is in a neighborhood where people who are likely to do that would live.
That was my first thought on reading this. Police should take a quick look at the credit rating, finances and employment status of the victims, IMO.

Fox 13, Tampa reported that the investigation includes whether the meat was tampered with after purchase.

I still maintain that the family put the LSD in/on the meat. For any number of reasons, not the least that I have never known a doper to just to throw their stuff into the wind as this was done[figuratively].

Just saying but I think this is a very quickie blaming of collective hysteria/hallucinations on LSD when it is more likely caused by something more common with other family members mimicking
If I was a reporter my question would be about the LSD testing
My bottom line is-——— Highly doubtful they bought LSD tainted meat from the store. Was there actual LSD to be found? Need more testing details
The rest of the details remain to be discovered. It could be one of those phony ginned up lawsuits
