When is the stupid party going to get get a clue? Find their clubs in high school and continue in college: Why do you support the party of reverse discrimination against your own interests? We can start there, but we need tailored messages for latinos and blacks too. There's a reason that the rats use divide and conquer. It works!

I’ve always been baffled by this.

They arrive impoverished in many cases, stay married, eschew all homo and enviro propaganda, get robbed on the street, get marginalized by Hollywood, save their money, open small businesses (under assault by all manner of regulation):

AND THEN THEY VOTE DEMOCRAT.

This just does not compute to me.

I’m actually starting a correct messaging campaign, as their values align with ours. In general. My wife’s Asian.

The same is true for Jews. Not a whole lot of Jews benefit from the welfare state, they are discriminated against by "affirmative action," many are professionals or business owners who must submit to onerous regulations, and many support Israel, of which the Left in general and the Democrat Party in particular is not a friend. Yet they vote overwhelmingly for Democrats.

i do believe that this is changing but the answer looking back is pretty easy. Coming here, in many cases illegally, to NYC is like it was 100 years ago and longer for others. Gangs and other organizations helping them to get here and telling them what to do and how to vote. Getting them menial jobs. Theres a whole cycle breaking down today with second and third generations looking out for themselves.
The article somewhat hits on this issue from every racial aspect. They mention districts 15-33% Asian. Any area where you have a lack or relative lack of diversity will be voting in blocks. Those blocks are controlled by a handful of people within or more precisely of the same origins. Until these people disperse from these areas they will vote with the crowd. Theres safety in that.
I hesitate to use a word like ghetto to label these areas regardless of racial origin but they can take forever to break up. My own lower east side area of Manhattan had several racially divided enclaves. Tee largely Puerto Rican area is a shell of what it was. Little Italy is more a series of restaurants than anything else. Chinatown not only has endured however its probably 3 times as large as it used to be.

Asians don’t mind secular government programs, as far as I can tell. They think it’s part of being civic-minded, I think. Also, in our area, many of the public school teachers are Asians, so there is solidarity with Democrats in that regard. It’s true that many first-generation Asians own their own businesses, but that is not what they hope their children will be doing. When their children go to public schools and universities to become doctors and engineers, they come out Democrat.

As someone of Chinese descent, I can affirm the ‘divide and conquer’ mentality. The party operatives literally change their message depending upon the audience. It is sad. Also, the Dems will often make promises about government jobs and financial security w/o mentioning bothersome things like deficits and the national debt.

Many of my friends and I saw the light after college once we started buying property and dealt with the local bureaucrats.

Why would ‘Asians’ vote or be allowed to in American elections?

also many asians offended by donald trump’s promotion of birtherism. when asians hear lack of condemnation of trump’s birtherism from the gop, they feel the gop is telling them that they’re not real americans.

vietnamese, chinese, and korean immigrants lean gop. they see the gop as the anti-communist party. but their kids, after going thru the american college system, become obama voters.

Yup.

Instead of all this overthinking and reverse propagandizing any ethnic group, how about this message instead...

“You are an American. I am an American. Lets cut the race crap and vote like Americans. For the shared value of “America”.

The smartest Asian ever to compete on Survivor was a huge liberal. He said it was good that a white person did not get to the final 4 because that’s diversity winning. I know its only a tv show but it was funny the amount of stupid that he spoke. It was like the biggest problem in America was that Asians were being stereotyped as small.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yul_Kwon

There are a lot of Asians who seem to support quotas and gun control. Maybe they dont care where they have to study.

Asians for Obama

1996 Presidential Election

Bob Dole - 48% of Asian vote
Bill Clinton - 44% of Asian vote
Ross Perot - 8% of Asian vote

So, what happened?

“Mass Immigration” happened.

Since 1996, we have imported millions of low skill, poorly educated people from the Philippines, China, and Vietnam.

Asian Indians are the best educated of all immigrant groups, but their voting record is the most radical - 90% voted for Obama in 2008.

Why do new Asian immigrants vote Hard Left?

Easy.

They grew up in Socialist countries.

They voted Socialist in their native countries.

And they vote Socialist in the USA.

I agree: how can such people simultaneously be both smarter than sh*t AND dumber than sh*t?

I guess they read the propaganda they get from the DNC as opposed to throwing it away and making up their own minds.

The problem is that by and large, only whites are interested in doing that.

We have real problem with recent Asian immigrants not assimilating, because there is nothing left to assimilate into. Children of immigrants today learn in school, from the media and from big business for that matter, that America is evil, that white people are the cause of all the world’s problems and that it pays to be a member of an aggrieved victim group.

I bet Americans of Asian ancestry whose ancestors all came to America before 1965, or even before 1990 vote mostly Republican.

Remember that most of the Asians in America are post 1990 immigrants and their children. That’s how heavy immigration has been since the elder Bush opened the floodgates by doubling legal immigration.
