Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370- the manifest
03-08-2014 | Me

Posted on 03/08/2014 6:07:37 PM PST by Kevin in California

I saw the passenger manifest and cannot make sense of the two children from the USA that were onboard.

From the names that were listed, I didn't see anything there that indicated their parents were passengers. Of course, maybe some kin/friends were accompanying them.

Just my conspiracy theory so take it for what it's worth.

“.....I assumed the American listed, Philip Wood(Who worked for IBM and lived in Texas), was the father of the two children, but I guess that was wrong, those two children are not his, so whose children are they?”
********************************************************************

Likely US born offspring of Chinese citizens. It’s all the rage among well-to-do Chinese—kind of an “anchor baby” insurance policy if the need to get out happens.

I remember hearing a story a few months ago here in Los Angeles there was some house where pregnant Chinese women would come and give birth to their children so they would be automatic US Citizens, so this could be the case here

Yes, the stolen passports should have triggered alarms per this report from Calcutta News...

Travel by passengers with stolen identities can be prevented

INTERPOL's Stolen and Lost Travel Documents (SLTD) database currently contains 40 million records from 167 countries. Though it was searched more than 800 million times in 2013, with the United Arab Emirates alone making one in every eight searches as the third largest user, Secretary General Ronald K. Noble said not enough countries are making use of this critical global policing tool.

The bad news is that, despite being incredibly cost effective and deployable to virtually anywhere in the world, only a handful of countries are systematically using SLTD to screen travellers," he said.

"The result is a major gap in our global security apparatus that is left vulnerable to exploitation by criminals and terrorists."

News comes out; two children on board.

Out of 200 people dead only two ‘children’? What are the odds and why the announcement. Among 200 ‘what difference’ would that make?

Just running to announce this is just creepy on the part of the press.

Yep. Makes sense. Really many Chinese nationals who have moved to the US and had children here. Then they may well have taken them back to visit family there.

“any names connected to Whitewater?”

Yes, or even more likely the travel office.

Both of the US children have the same sir names as chinese nationals. Very likely they were born in the US to chinese parents. With so many chinese coming to the US for education and work, this is hardly surprising.

Obviously the entire Meng family was on there, including the 2 year old and the Cheng family also, including the 4 year old, the kids are anchor babies and the rest are Chinese, no conspiracy

Maybe they were just adopted and making their first trip to what was to be their new home? Papers would say U.S.A. Just a thought.

I don’t know if things have changed, but it used to be that children had to be at least 13 to fly unaccompanied. My mother kept on asking me to send my daughter to Spain in June, with me coming to visit and pick her up in late July, but no airline would agree until she was 13.

Not everyone has a spouse with the same citizenship that they have. International marriages do occur. and in those cases, a parent will sometimes take a child to the home country while the other parent stays home and works.

In one case there is a possible parent with an identical name to that of the 2 year old, with a 34 year age span. In the other case, it appears that it could be one parent and two possible grandparents with the child.

They were born in the U.S. That makes them U.S. citizens

Not sure what list you are looking at, but on this one:

http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/content/dam/mas/master/en/pdf/Malaysia%20Airlines%20Flight%20MH%20370%20Passenger%20Manifest.pdf

Both children are listed right next to people with the same last name.

104, 105 and 106 are all named “MENG”

159, 160, 161 and 162 are all named “WANG” so at least one or two of those are likely the parents.

“...Earlier, it was reported that the passenger manifest was leaked onto a Chinese website, with one name oddly blurred out.....”
**************************************************************
wtd, I can’t get access into the linked site. What was the alphabetic list location of the blurred out name (i.e., what was the name preceding the blurred one and the name following the blurred one)

A similar house in Chino Hills (40 miles east of LA)was shut down about 2 years ago. Same issue Chinese flying in to give Birth.

The link was to http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/10685436/Malaysia-crash-victims-and-tears-of-their-families.html Which mentioned the blacked out name on the leaked manifest...unfortunately, without actually providing its source for that statement. Sorry, I have no further details on that. However, while seeking more info! I came across the following additional reports related to this missing flight...

Malaysia Airlines denied reports circulating on the internet the plane had landed safely in Nanjing China.

And

Pilot: I established contact with plane

'INTERFERENCE': Pilot in another plane was flying 30 minutes ahead of MH370 SEPANG: A BOEING 777 pilot, who was flying 30 minutes ahead of the missing Malaysia Airlines aircraft, said he established contact with MH370 minutes after he was asked to do so by Vietnamese air traffic control. The captain, who asked to not be named, said his plane, which was bound for Narita, Japan, was far into Vietnamese airspace when he was asked to relay, using his plane's emergency frequency, to MH370 for the latter to establish its position, as the authorities could not contact the aircraft. "We managed to establish contact with MH370 just after 1.30am and asked them if they have transferred into Vietnamese airspace. "The voice on the other side could have been either Captain Zaharie (Ahmad Shah, 53,) or Fariq (Abdul Hamid, 27), but I was sure it was the co-pilot. "There were a lot of interference... static... but I heard mumbling from the other end. "That was the last time we heard from them, as we lost the connection," he told the New Sunday Times. He said those on the same frequency at the time would have heard the exchange. This, he said, would include vessels on the waters below. He said he thought nothing of it, as the occurrence (of losing contact) was normal, until it was established that MH370 never landed. "If the plane was in trouble, we would have heard the pilot making the Mayday distress call. But I am sure that, like me, no one else up there heard it. "Following the silence, a repeat request was made by the Vietnamese authorities to try establishing contact with them."

I just hope that if these children have passed on that they died before they hit the water, to think that they were screaming as they were plummeting towards the ocean knowing they were going to die and nothing can be done to save them breaks my heart..these poor babies
