So, if you make less that $40,000 a year and find the high cost of Obamacare to be overwhelming, President Obama has a message for you: cancel your stupid cable TV and you iPhone service you ingrates. Then you will be able to afford my mandated-by-law take over of our national healthcare system.
This is what Obama told a Latino audience at a townhall held this week on several Spanish language media networks.
Obama was presented with a question about a family that makes $36,000 a year and found that the cheapest Obamacare plan they could find would cost them $315 a month. This, the family felt, was too expensive and something they could not afford.

Uh, my Net 10 service is $40 a month and my cable and internet $70. That doesn’t come close to the $315/month premiums mentioned by the $36k guy in the video. And what about deductibles, oh Liar-in-Chief?
*Rubs hands together like Mr. Burns on The Simpsons*
It’s very helpful to alienate the cable and phone companies.
LOL! Maybe he can win "Lie of the Year" for 2014 too. If the GOP doesn't take back the Senate after THIS clip alone, they deserve to be sent into exile.
Let them eat cake.
A lot of companies supported obamacare, because they thought they could push off healthcare expenses onto the individual citizens, and they would save money. I don't think they calculated that those same people would lose their discretionary spending money, and it would come right back at them.
The tea party needs to reach out to insurance companies and companies that depend on discretionary spending.
Okey dokey, I’ll call Comcast (Obama supporter) and tell I want to cancel my cable because Obama said so.
Karma is a real b*tch, no?
BINGO! This’d be bigger than Romney’s “47%” and Bush 41’s “price scanner” and “read my lips” quotes, combined, if used correctly...
I'm still inflating my tires to save money on gas (Obambi's advice). Nice to hear these suggestions from someone who never did have a job.
We all know how a ‘complicated subject’ is very liable to be ‘botched up’ when said in one language and translated into another.
Of course, that depends how many ‘common folk’ listen to ‘der Fuhrer’ on Spanish Language radio.
If ‘we’ are lucky he tried to give the interview in Spanish.
The guy must either be stupid, stoned or just don’t GAF, as the statements are getting more outlandish.
Guess the real question is when will these gaffes(?) be reported properly?
Even in “A Face in the Crowd” it took a while and sabotage to bring (A Griffith) the candidate down.
Like they say, this fool could be observed on the White House lawn screwing a goat and it may bring a ‘ho-hum’ from the crowd...
Jeepers, Mr. President!
‘Drop’ my cable bill, so that I can’t use my FCC-2009-compliant-digital-TV, since my local broadcasters have dropped all analog broadcasting???
Of course, in doing so, I guess I can’t watch that cable network you put on the blacklist,i.e., Fox News then, eh?
‘Drop’ my phone bill, so that I have NO phone service, since I do not, and have not, had a ‘landline’, in over 14 years? How coud I contact my power-of-attorney in an emergency? How could I alert the 911 service, since I am a disabled veteran?
Oh that’s right! You want me dead anyway, don’t you?
So, in a simple and easy way, I offer a ‘retort’:
Which is exactly why the MSM will never report it. Right down the ol' memory hole...
Would you buy a Medical Insurance Policy from Hussein Obama?
“Whether or not you like your Policy, I will keep your money, period.”
I guess we can all live in dumpsters also Mr Resident!
And, inflate your tires by 10%.
” - - - I guess we can all live in dumpsters also Mr Resident! - - - “
How did you know?
BTW, I’m installing a “Flush-O-Matic” behind my dumpster this weekend so I will be free to take an “Obama” anytime I choose.
Hey, it (Obamacare) may not be working optimal right now, but I am sure the Republicans will save the day, that they have a better plan. And with it, they will show up the democrats, we can show it is supposed to be done properly. And we can win more seats in Congress and maybe even take over the presidency in 2016. Yes, the republicans are much better at out-regulating than the democrats. We can do it more efficiently and less costly, just look at GWB medicare program. </s>
