Harris County sheriff's deputies in Texas are investigating after a father shot a 17-year-old boy whom he found in his teenage daughter's bedroom.
Officials said Friday the 55-year-old father has not been arrested and investigators will ultimately hand over their report to the grand jury to consider possible charges.
According to KHOU-TV in Houston, the incident began when the girl's brother went to say good night to his 16-year-old sister and saw a pair of feet sticking out from under the bed. The brother alerted their father, who went into the bedroom to investigate.
When the father confronted the boy -- identified as Johran McCormick -- his daughter denied knowing who McCormick was or why he was there. The father called 911 about 2:30 a.m., police said, and a confrontation with McCormick ensued.
According to KHOU, the father told sheriff’s deputies that he saw McCormick drop his hands and he interpreted that as an attempt to grab something to attack him, so he shot the boy once.

Sure he did ... sneaking around in a girl's bedroom ... at night ... boys who get caught doing that, need to sit down, shut up, make absolutely NO moves, and wait for the cops to haul their sorry ass away. People deserve the most reasonably expected results of their actions.
I wonder how the Fake Reverend Al Sharpton would of reacted if it was a 17yr old white hispanic,with his tea/skittles found in bed with a 16yr old black child,and the dad shot him,but not fatally.
Yes that district/area is currently having Spring Break.
But will the daughter be charged. Her saying that she didn’t know who he was got the kid killed.
I hope this Dad gets many many years in prison. He shot someone in cold blood. He was not a stranger in the house.
You are as obsessed by race as a Democrat.
The odds of the girl not knowing him are extremely small. Even if the Dad gets off with nothing, the boy’s family is going to sue him in civil court and take him to the cleaners.

IMHO, the dad could have scared the bejesus out of the kid and called the cops in the meantime. Of course, I keep forgetting how mean some of the kids are today.
Just as I thought. His daughter lied. Her father is a murderer and justice is lots and lots of jail time.
This happens everyday and the dads don't murder the boyfriend.

If I’m on the jury, the father will walk, and the boy’s family will have to pay the father for the next twenty years for causing stress and inconvenience in his (the father’s) family.
