The progressive dream, of a benevolent state led by the best and the brightest caring for a grateful population unable to fend for itself, is dying a painful death. And it is starting to dawn on some of the smarter Democrats -- people like David Plouffe -- that they face an electoral Armageddon in November.

In an interview with Al Hunt broadcast aired last night on Bloomberg TV, former Obama adviser Plouffe:

“Plouffe just cannot get himself to admit the obvious: that Obamacare, the Great Progressive Project, sold with lies and bribes, has become the Waterloo of the Left. Young people in particular have become angry and cynical over being treated as cash cows, after being promised that the hip, cool president had their backs. The reason they have a turnout problem is that they have demonstrated thjeir willingness to lie and exploit young people with Obamacare.”

But Obama does have their backs. It’s called BOHICA!

May they deny the disaster about to hit them until the year 2025.

Obama killed the economy, left many destitute, hopeless, and homeless, and now they couldn’t begin to afford to buy 0’Care if they tried. His little experiment proved why socialism doesn’t work.

“...Asking them to pay money to join a health-care exchange, it seems, is too tall an order — even though the presidency they created depends on it.”

Wow. Just f’ing wow.

A superpower reduced to its president trying to guilt-trip his base of “kid” voters to save his sorry ass.

Denial? Perhaps.

It’s more likely that they are displaying confidence in their fraudulent election practices.

If any group should be upset with Obama, it’s the young Americans who will see themselves inheriting all the debt, all the lost jobs, the consequences of lower pay because of cheap and illegal labor. If they ever wake up, the whole Democrat Party is in deep trouble.

The author is totally wrong. Liberals face a landslide in their favor, if they will campaign on ObamaCare, emphasize that it is doing exactly what it was designed to do, and that they are proud of what they accomplished. I hope they will all take Pelosi's advice and stand proud in their support of this fundamental transformation of what used to be a free country.

Not only am I seeing that very thing lately, I’m seeing direct evidence of it on a personal level everywhere.

The trouble is they are taking the rest of us down with them. What’s been down will be almost impossible to undo no matter what happens in November.

The Progressive Fantasy World is like one of those online games where you invent for yourself the life that you want to lead. The only problem is that real life is not a fantasy and you can’t wish problems away with a never ending mesh of lies. The bills are coming due and the Progressive Fantasy checkbook is empty.

Don’t get cocky, guys. I’ve seen such “we can’t lose, they can’t win” rhetoric before - then ended up with the Obama ... twice.

I’m an ancient cynic. I’ll believe these nitwits that elected our Freedom Destroyer In Chief will desert him only after they actively vote for his demise.
