I was out having a succulent Chinese meal when I got the news that Ares Armor was raided. Monderno broke the story earlier today pointing out an instagram released by our friend Jeremy Tuma, the COO of Ares Armor. After finishing up my crab wonton, I figured I would see what was the latest. Here is some video footage from the raid at their new National City store.

Ares Armor is the outfit that sold/sells AR lowers and refused to turn over the client list to batfe. The batfe was issued a restraining order but looks like they don't care. Now about those Fast and Furious documents that congress wants.......... Who's gonna raid the batfe and get them? Conundrum time.

The ‘Rule of Law’ is only good as long a there are people and institutions willing to follow them. Once that is gone, there are only tyrants and the tyrannized................

The word “law” no longer has any meaning whatsoever int his country.

The word has been utterly corrupted by our utterly corrupt government.

The foundations of any republic are : freedom, justice, and rule of law. Did ANYONE learn this in school? If we don’t fight this and other Obama misdeeds all is lost.

When has the ATF ever followed the rule of law.

Its what ever they want, when they want, the way they want.

And NO ONE has ever held their feet to the fire.

So, why did the ATF gunthugs have to kick in the door?

In a tyranny, everyone is a criminal, except the government or anyone who works for the government or is part of the government.

We're there.

Now I haven’t read where the company got the TRO from, and I supposed it’s like everything else ... if it’s not explained it’s probably because it doesn’t fit their version of events.

I’m not a BATF fan, but you can’t go to a municipal judge and get a TRO to stop the Federal Agents from serving a warrant. As a warrant from a superior court simply squashes it.

We no longer have the rule of law in this country. When that happens law abiding citizens begin to lose respect for the law and for their government institutions. Thats how you get to Revoulution.

There is nothing legal aout what the BATFE is doing at EP or Ares. Its tyranny and scare tactics. Not new in that agency but it needs to be stopped.

You’re 180 degrees wrong, AND the local sheriff should have been present to defend the rights of the citizens in his jurisdiction.

I did, yes.

However today what is being taught is Glowbull Warming, diversity, false equality and social justice.

The treasure of this nation, its people, has been poisoned.

This shopkeeper was downright foolish to keep those records on the premises, instead of in a secure location. Likely the rules required they keep them on site, for just such an opportunity.

Who gave the TRO?

Perhaps this post will help clarify things.

Yup, clarifies what I’m saying. They’re glossing over this “court” thing.

What court did they get the TRO from? A tennis court? A basketball court? A quart of milk?

Who issued the TRO? Have they even put a .jpg of the TRO online?

Law abiding citizens have an internal sense that something is very very wrong. This is what we are witnessing today when, as you say, “law abiding citizens begin to lose respect for the law and for their government institutions.” And also, law abiding citizens become classified as criminals when their government passes laws that make the law abiding into criminals.

The fed government is not for the people. The fed government is for itself. It is an entity unto its own and feeds upon the people for its existence. Its only purpose is to exist. It will do anything and everything to exist. In order to exist, it needs to grow. It needs to grow, because to be stagnet means that something else may be growing in its place. Therefore, it grows, as a creature unto itself, without any purpose except to grow. The fed is a creature that is no longer recognizable. It is hideous and ugly, snapping, snarling, mean, and nasty.

In order to grow, it needs to feed upon the people. It eats out the livelihood of the people to grow. It will eat out the people until the people are no more.

This is the fed.

The state is something else. Some states care about its people, some don’t. Some states are pair bonding at the hip to the feds and will suck off the people with the feds. And will try to grow like the feds. Some states realize what is happening and do what they can to protect its people and remove the ravenous fed creature from feeding off its people.

There is no hope for the fed to be reformed. It is rabid. States need to protect its people from this hideous deformity. Good Luck!

Democrats and Republicans in the fed can not reform it. No one can.

Yep, America is finished! Been finished for a long time. We still call it America, but it isn’t. Do you call a butterfly a caterpillar after the caterpillar has changed to a butterfly? I don’t. But in this case, we still call America - America. But it is not America, it is now some weird and hideous metamorphisis.

Okay, finally a real news story on it.

I eat some crow.

http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2014/03/17/despite-restraining-order-atf-raids-ares-armory-over-plastic-parts-n1810321

” The restraining order was approved by Federal Judge Janis L. Sammartino and a federal raid of the business was prevented.”

I don't agree that anyone is glossing over anything, but we each have our own opinions.

I found sources on line that stated that the TRO was issued, and later modified by Federal Judge Janis L. Sammartino, US District Court, Southern District of California. I presume you followed the link in the post by marktwain to which I referred you?

Here is one such site - I'm sure that Google can help you find others should you desire additional information.

An excerpt from the site above: "On March 14th Federal Judge Janis L. Sammartino “modified” her TRO to allow the BATFE to conduct the raid pursuant to a warrant at the request of the ATF effectively nullifying her earlier TRO against the ATF in the case of Lycurgan Inc. v. Jones aka Ares Armor v. BATFE."

To be honest, it didn't take long to find this, and I'm sure you could have done the same by yourself.

No sweat. It is important that we have all the facts in front of us. That is one thing I appreciate about this site.

And, I take it from your screen name that you are (or were) a GI. If that is correct, I want to thank you for your service.
