HOUSTON, TEXAS --U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told a packed crowd of mostly Democrat women in Houston that she is on a crusade to increase minimum wage, achieve paycheck
fairness, establish more paid sick leave and increase the availability of child care, especially for sick children. Pelosi and two other Democrat women Members of Congress were speaking on a panel titled, "When Women Succeed, America Succeeds."
For women to succeed, Pelosi said the government must do three things: increase the minimum wage; establish a balance between responsibilities at work and at home; and, establish more robust early childhood learning programs and day care.

Why not just send everyone who does not want to work a check for $3,000 every month and then they can enjoy life and pursue their hobbies. :-)
The administration can start by setting the example. Women are (if you ignore things like time-in-job, education, job title and so on as libs are so wont to do) underpaid compared to the men in the WH and probably all throughout the Capitol as well.

My paycheck was a “livable wage” before o. Not so much now days.
I doubt if a “Livable Wage” would have gotten my worthless brother-in-law (If you know him he probably owes you money) off his dead butt.
He has not worked since he walked off his good job back in 1981 (”I’m not going to pay taxes to Reagan!”).
I saw a documentary last night on the year 1964 that showed Goldwater and Reagan pointing out that they’ve been shouting this crap for 30 years and nothing has changed. Now, they’ve been shouting it for 90 years.
Doesn't it just make you sick that here we live in the best of times in a nation where anyone can be successful and make something of themselves if they wish (or used to be able to, before the current DC crowd took over), and this witch Pelosi goes around telling people that they're living in a gulag working for slave wages?
