Flying With Fish ‏@flyingwithfish 10m @ryangrannand My primary DHS source says that they have a briefing indicating DoD has reason to believe #MH370 “could’ve landed in Pakistan”

I’m wondering how soon the disinformation debris (suitcases, etc.) starts turning up in an odd area?

On Hannity. Just said the pilot was a relative of the opposition guy just sent up for sodomy. So he may have had a reason to get out of Dodge

Two questions for the General:

Are you saying that this Arc of the Last Ping is fabricated??? because that Last Ping Arc is a long way from Pakistan.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:MH370_last_ping_corridors.jpg

And if the plane is intact in Pakistan then why aren’t there satellite engine pings showing that the plane is still intact.

Either that, or if by some miracle the passengers are still alive, he’s holding them for the ransom of this opposition leader being released.

That’s a possibility too.

I thought the pings only occurred when the engines were running. Besides, I’m not sure they would tell us about all of the pings.

That might be the pilot’s motive, if he’s responsible for all of this.

You’re right the engines have to be running and they had to be running when if they did land in Pakistan or anywhere else. Also if it did land and not crash the ACARS system would have reported that the landing gear went down.

I think there’s stuff about that data that we’re not being told about. I don’t take it at face value. We’re told there was no ping for the wheels down, but maybe there was a ping.

If we’re being lied to then all these threads, articles, talking heads are useless, but two things still have not yet been debunked — the satellite engine ping theory and the ACARS no landing gear down theory.

Not realistic to hide a 777. At least not for 13 days. If the plane landed, we surely knew it within a couple of hours.

Yes, if we’re not getting all of the facts, it is speculation. That’s what we’ve been doing on FR for almost 2 weeks. If there’s a chance the plane is landed and especially if there’s a chance the passengers are still alive and are hostages, my guess is they’re not going to broadcast the facts until they’re ready. I would also expect disinformation.

But I think that if you know the distance of the satellite from the plane, and the plane's speed, and have 7 hourly pings, then it is possible to track the movement of the plane.

You raise a point I've been wondering about.

They've shown that map depicting the plane's possible whereabouts as of the last ping, but what about the earlier pings, for which corresponding circular arcs should be available? Those, combined with other knowledge about the plane's possible location, ought to narrow the possible location down much more than it has been.
