Islamic law is adopted by British legal chiefs
Solicitors told how to draw up Sharia-style wills penalising widows and non-believers

Islamic law is to be effectively enshrined in the British legal system for the first time under guidelines for solicitors on drawing up “Sharia compliant” wills.
Under ground-breaking guidance, produced by The Law Society, High Street solicitors will be able to write Islamic wills that deny women an equal share of inheritances and exclude unbelievers altogether.
The documents, which would be recognised by Britain’s courts, will also prevent children born out of wedlock – and even those who have been adopted – from being counted as legitimate heirs.
Anyone married in a church, or in a civil ceremony, could be excluded from succession under Sharia principles, which recognise only Muslim weddings for inheritance purposes.
Nicholas Fluck, president of The Law Society, said the guidance would promote “good practice” in applying Islamic principles in the British legal system.
Some lawyers, however, described the guidance as “astonishing”, while campaigners warned it represented a major step on the road to a “parallel legal system” for Britain’s Muslim communities.

If this isn’t proof of Islam going way beyond religion, I don’t know what is. A country can’t survive having a “parallel legal system”, as they’re calling it (really a subversive legal system).
It does sound pretty bad....the thing is most wills can be written to give what ever to who ever the writer wishes it. All one’s money can left to one’s pets for example then to charities leaving any family without any inheritance.
Islam’s war against civilization is succeeding.

Yeppers. The UK is leading the West into the abyss of death and destruction. This is just another fine example of such.
In Spain when a spouse dies the property is divided one half to the surviving spouse and the other to the children; I guess it prevents a parent’s children from not receiving anything the dead parent worked for.
As wills can be drawn up however one wants, I don’t understand why this is an issue; it isn’t as though the shariah-compliant will is becoming the default...

I bet there are going to be a large number of British wives of muslims who are shocked to find they and their children are left homeless and in poverty while hubby’s money is all sent back to his parents, siblings and those wives she didn’t know existed.
Muslims don't control the British government. The men that control Britain could put a stop to this if they wanted to. Instead they import millions of the Third worlders, provide for all their wants and needs with taxpayer money, and then use the courts and police to protect them from angry native Britons. Sadly there are already places / cities in USA that allow sharia laws in civil cases including divorce
Both parties have to agree to honoring the sharia edict
but it has existed here in USA for several years

Sharia wills: My slave (fka wife) won’t get anything. My daughter (slave in training) don’t need an educaction, so she doesn’t need anything. so I will give it to my son.
