Would America Go to War with Russia?

Vice President Biden was in Warsaw last week to reassure our eastern NATO allies that they have the support of a “steadfast ally.” But if Russia moved against Poland or the Baltic States, would the United States really go to war? Or would we do nothing and effectively destroy the NATO alliance?

Putin would arrange circumstances such that Obama could stay out of it. Maybe frame up the subject country as the aggressor. NATO is officially a "defensive alliance," so aiding an "aggressor" would not be required.

That having been said I think any such scenario is improbable.

When NATO was expanded to cover Bulgaria, Romania, the Baltics...and there was talk of including Georgia and Ukraine...Putin KNEW it was complete bullsh!t.

There is no way the USA is going to war with Russia to protect Bulgaria.

If someone who loved America made a list of the best possible commander-in-chief choices for a US-Russia war, Barack Hussein Obama would not be among the top five billion names on the list. Going to war against Russia is at best a terrible idea, and with current leadership unthinkable.
