In my case, I’ll vote till the shooting begins in earnest. Too old to do much fighting. They would get me after my first shot (perhaps) for am far too slow to move quickly. Should it come to a fight and the People do mass for one more time to take on the federals, I will go with the rebels (as we shall be called again) but place me either in sniper position or out in front in the battle I arrive for to be dead and gone quickly. I do not relish nor desire to be shooting at my fellow Americans unless God wills it to be so. God has been good to never force me to shoot at another human being and beginning now would break my heart.

I understand what you mean about God being good, but unfortunately, some of them have pushed too far, have assumed too much, and hard lesson are going to have to be learned.

This seems to be a repeating cycle in mankind’s history.

That being said, should such a time come, use your disadvantages to your advantage. if you can use it to fool the enemy, then do so.

Also a repeating cycle in mankind's history is mankind being fooled by the enemy. That is why I shall wait and continue to vote till no other alternative exists. For me and my family there is no other choice but to vote. Those family members not inside the nation want to come home but I keep encouraging them to remain outside. Those family members here (inside) are all or nearly all Conservatives. They vote and act accordingly in all they do. Am proud of them all. When or if the time should come where it will be necessary once more to pick up the cartridge box, for has been made necessary, they will pick up that burden for they are younger and better prepared to go forth and fight for their beliefs. They do such everyday when or if confronted. I will never relish nor desire such a time as when fellow Americans shall once more deem it necessary to kill each other and may I be one of the first to perish and that will most likely be the case anyways. My young will do what they should if that time comes and I know, they shall make me prouder than I currently am of each of them. Sometimes I pray to be wrong when watching a situation because what am thinking is wrong to be thinking. Have never experienced a time when I thought all was lost, well maybe once, but once saw that window of escape and jumped I experienced a blessing I thought I would never experience in my life. May the same hold true for you Chris should you ever have to use the window to escape. My advice thus is jump out the window and escape. No telling what blessing is waiting on the other side of the window.

I’ve thought of leaving the country.

Honestly, America is becoming a very scary place. But when I try to think of where to go, I just don’t know.

it really seems like some wave of madness is sweeping much of mankind, not just us.

So right now I am just trying to enjoy the time I have with my loved ones and my dog while I am able to.

Change can come quickly and harshly, and I feel like we ar eon a rail to something wicked.
