GOP senator: Administration 'cooking the books' on ObamaCare enrollment

Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) said Sunday that the Obama administration was “cooking the books” on enrollment figures for ObamaCare.
Appearing on “Fox News Sunday,” Barrasso said he wasn’t persuaded by statistics that said that more than six million people had signed up for insurance under the healthcare law.

It was considered a burden to get laid off and having to go on Cobra for health insurance. People who can get Cobra are keeping the Cobra plans ( even thought they are expensive)because they are usually with a group and end up being a better policy than you can get through BOzocare. Who knows what will happen with Obamacare over the next 18 months.

An unfortunate side effect of the bad roll-out of Obamacare is that NOW, the narrative isn’t about how bad the law is WHEN IT WORKS, it is all about how bad the roll-out was.
This was something that they WOULD eventually fix. People do need insurance, and they are getting booted out of their insurance, so they WILL sign up for new insurance, and get counted.
We can’t let the democrats get away with using a 7 million enrollment number as indicative of the law working. That was the number that they EXPECTED to sign up, and has nothing to do with whether people are actually getting useful insurance, or getting treated.
