N.Korea 'to Execute 200 Jang Song-taek Loyalists'
North Korea is poised to execute 200 high-ranking officials loyal to ousted eminence grise Jang Song-taek, a source said Tuesday. Some 1,000 members of their families could be sent to concentration camps under the North's barbaric system of guilt by association.
The source said the State Security Department has conducted a sweep to ferret out Jang's supporters after his execution in December last year and identified 200 core supporters and another 1,000 followers.
The department has authorization from the North's highest court to hold closed-door trials to deliver death sentences, the source added. This apparently aims to make it look as if proper procedure, to the extent that it exists at all, has been followed.
The families of those who have been sentenced to death are likely to be sent to concentration camps without trial.
The source said, "Among those who have been sentenced to death are 200 officials in the Workers Party, the government and military who received orders directly from Jang Song-taek. The executions will take place at the shooting range at Kang Kon Military Academy under the eyes of high-ranking party, government and military officials."
The public executions are designed to set an example to waverers what will happen to them if they fail to show blind obedience to Kim Jong-un, who marks his third year in power this year.

QUOTE: “Some 1,000 members of their families could be sent to concentration camps under the North’s barbaric system of guilt by association.”
It’s standard operating procedure in North Korea to punish/imprison three generations of male family members for the transgression of one generation. This acomplishes two things, it prevents revenge or activism that may foster reprisals; and, with the loss of breadwinners it assures the family will fall to a lower class status for generations to come.
This is why students will turn out for whatever they are told too, the fate of generation of thier family pivot on thier actions.
We’ll know the same, as they use the NSA database here to establish our caste system.
The weakness is that it makes it easier to feed into paranoia. Get enough general officers convinced that they (and their families) are about to be purged, and you might incite a coup.
Sounds like the current democratic party
Obama would say that lil Kim is acting from weakness
not strength....
“We solemnly repeat never again, build holocaust memorials, write books about the NKVD and the Gulags. We hunt down 90 year old Nazis who have only hidden since 1945.
We act deeply concerned.”
“We” do not do any of those things. Israelis do that. “We” stick “our” thumbs up our butts and complain.
I watched a show a few years ago on North Korea, I think it was National geographic when daddy Kim was still in power, Kim Jung mentally Ill whatever his name was, and it was just unreal. It reminded me of that Twilight zone episode “It’s a good life” where everyone is walking on eggshells so the kid don’t kill them. They showed a typical North Korean apartment, and every picture hanging on their wall was Kim Jung, no family photos, just constant photos of “The Dear Leader”. And the cameras followed this foreign eye doctor around who did cataract operations as an act of charity, he worked fast and did something like 100 people, and when he was finished and they had the bandages off, ALL of them wailed and cried at a picture of Kim Jung and thanked “The Dear Leader” for his “mercy and kindness”, NONE of them thanked the doctor. I was saying to myself, every lib who thinks more power should be given to the government should watch this thing, this stuff is no joke. Living like that is the definition of hell on earth.
OHH I remember National Geographic right
I just watched it again on Netflix. Very bizzare.
Oh wow, I think I saw it Netflix as well. What an eye opener that show was though. I forgot about the one part when he asked the tour guide, or was it his minder, why there were pictures and statues of Kim Jung Ill all over the place and the guy basically freaked out. That part I think was the closest they got to being busted. Just even slightly questioning The Dear Leader can get a person killed. I wonder what would happen though if someone got the guts and blew “The Dear Leaders” brains out. They would probably get immediately killed, but would it throw the whole country into anarchy? Who would take his place? I dont think his son Kim jong Un has any kids. I think I read a while ago someone tried to kill him which may be why he is constantly executing all these people, he’s paranoid.
Was Oprah special when she has talk show with Lucy Lu or something if one I thinking one you may be right
PBS Frontline did update on that showing current North Korea chia Chub
I understand he is marry now and his wife current Mrs Chia Chub bore him daughter and rumor has is she desperate get pregnant again to have son
It is episode of Twilight Zone it is good life in North Korea bottom line instead Bill Mumy aka Will Robertson aka Babylon 5 minibari diplomat Lennier it is Chia Chub
I wonder how Rod Serling would react with Chia Chub if I know Roddy if he still alive that rumor reboot of TZ is happening he may do update on that episode trust me
LOL!
Serling has been dead since 1975. While Progressives like to claim him as one of their own, I’m going to make the assumption that a liberal from WW2 is today’s conservative.
Ha Ha- all of you are Sooo.... wrong!
Dear leader is GREAT!-
Just ask obammy!
Just ask (I served in vietnam )Kerry!

They won’t; remember, they revere his line as a God and this is something that can’t be removed easily. It’s a very effective mentality.
