An exchange student fell to his death after ingesting marijuana in Colorado - the first death linked to the drug since it was legalised in the US state.
Levy Thamba, 19, plummeted from the balcony of a Denver hotel on 11 March after eating a cannabis-laced cookie.
A post-mortem examination found marijuana intoxication was a factor in the Wyoming student's death.
Colorado became the first US state to legalise recreational use of the drug in January.
Mr Thamba, a native of the Republic of Congo, had reportedly begun taking classes at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming, the same month.

Believe me, as potent as dope is these days it does not take much.
But the warriors will still insist pot must be banned to protect the chillins.
Apparently, marijuana was a factor...Perhaps, STUPID stepped up and played a role as well, hmmmm?
Well, not to defend pot, but the fact is pot IMPAIRS judgment, just like alcohol.
People wouldn't use marijuana if it didn't so, yeah, there's the STUPID factor, but yeah, there's the POT factor, too.
I grow tired of hearing people saying pot has NO negative effects.
Sure it does. You get high. You are going for the impaired sensation.
You do dumb stuff.
But don't come crying when you suffer the consequences.
