Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Robert Papp said that in 2010 Obama told U.S. military leaders to accept his push for gays in the military, and that if they didn't, they could take the "opportunity to resign [their] commissions."
Papp said these things in a video BuzzFeed obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.
The video shows a speech Papp delivered to Coast Guard Academy cadets during which he was asked how he would deal with enforcing an order with which he didn't agree. He used the story of his 2010 meeting with Obama as an example of how service members' duties can be compelling and conflicting with personal desires....

Well come on now, Obama knows more about the military than 200 years of Admirals, Generals, Colonels, Lieutenants etc etc because he is THE ONE and knows all! He is the MESSIAH! And even though the largest security breach in US military history was committed by a fag named Bradley Manning who went into a “gay snit” because that’s what fags do when given orders, it’s OK for them to be in the military because when you are under fire, you want your troops going into “gay snits”.

Which is also exactly applicable to the brass that surrendered to Obama’s edict. Because, they did. Doesn’t matter why someone surrenders in the end, just that they did. Likewise for the people out here who surrender their ethics and morality rather than fight for them. Doesn’t matter why they refused to defend their beliefs...just that they did.

Exactly. And when it is threatened by enemies foreign or domestic...such as in trying to destroy it’s military via PC social experimentation, they have a clear duty to oppose that.
Old news. Of course that’s what happened. Barry Bathhouse gets what he wants, and to hell with common sense and national security. An honorable man would have resigned before he had anything to do with the destruction of the US Armed Forces, and that also includes allowing in special force and the infantry.

I tell people who believe gays should be in the military - “Have you ever worked with gays? Ever been in a management position where you had to give them orders?” Out of all the people I have ever worked with, gays are the BIGGEST pain in the asses, no pun intended. Ordering a gay to do something is like trying to get a chimpanzee to build a nuclear reactor, it’s IMPOSSIBLE. They will do whatever the hell they want, no matter what, and if you try to force them they will go into a “snit” and that is exactly what happened with Bradley Manning and why he ripped off all those military secrets. The military doesn’t want gays not because they are bias but because 200 years of experience has taught them gays do - not - take - orders. Not all of them are like that, but enough where it would cost lives. But of course liberals in all their arrogance, liberals who never served one day in the military or even in management positions like Kenyan Barry know better.

All the general officers on active duty when Barry Bathhouse ordered the sodomization of the military could have resigned on the spot. Everyone of them had the required 20 years of active duty for retirement.
Meant to say they should have resigned before allowing the sodomization of the US Military and allowing women in the special forces and infantry.
Same people, same agenda. They will do it again because it’s their job to do it again. And the ones that aren’t actually paid? Well, there are useful idiots on the right that revel in being what they are just as there are on the left. And they are proud of their stupidity.
Had the first set resigned, the second set resigned, the third set resigned, etc. Obama would have had to accept defeat and go away.
The problem with most officers above the rank of O-5 is that they've started putting promotion above the service. They are more politician than warrior.
