I'll bet the “American Indian Movement” is behind this. One of their members lives near Dr. Miller, and he's been coveting Miller's Indian artifacts for quite some time.

Nice pic of a nice display.

Libs probably just want that stuff for their "public" museums where 90% of the stuff is stored in the dusty basement.

Maybe they are concerned about where all this stuff is headed after the ~90 yr old merges with the Universe.

“Libs probably just want that stuff for their “public” museums where 90% of the stuff is stored in the dusty basement.”

-not libs. Although I'm sure they support this inquisition.
-its the “American Indian Movement”. Read the comments below the article. They've been after Miller for quite some time.

I did read that he had a jealous AIM "neighbor".

That guy should just spend more time the field collecting his own stuff, or be busting ass making money to buy same.

Another alternative is for the AIM guy to get his tribe to build a Casino and use the profits to buy up the artifacts they want.

It'd still be interesting in reading an account of the whole FBI back story on this theft run.

How is the AIM not a subset of Libs?

Okay good point. They (AIM) are using the federal government to do their dirty work. This Dr. Miller bought these collections legally, so the only way they can get them without paying for them, is to have the FBI “Art crimes unit” take them.
