I’ve been waiting a long time to hear some politician with the power to do anything about it say the first word about defending Christians and Christianity in this world and, so far, the only taker is Vladimir Putin. In our own case, the United States is still demographically a Christian country but you’d never know it by observing our government.
And why not? WE threw Him out of our schools, our courts, our holidays, our public square...

U R correct. People think God is on the United States side. He isn’t. I don’t think for one minute God gets goose pimples on His spine when the national anthem plays. God is on the side of those who BELIEVE in Him according to 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4, Death, Burial, and Resurrection. Those who BELIEVE on His Son. God does not side with America over Russia, or the NY Yankees over the Boston Red Sox. He will reward those who believe on His Son and condemn those who refuse the free offer of His eternal grace.
God has spoken clearly throughout the ages. Tyrants, Dictators, Murderers, EgoManics, Secular Humans who believe they are Gods to be worshipped and obeyed (Obama fits the bill perfectly) at all costs, have all met their master and true ruler of the world, at the end of the day.
A human being is born, lives a life and, dies at the Lord God, Almighty’s behest. Good, strong examples for “Obama” to take note of: Nero, Caligula, Mussolini, Hitler, Chavez, Stalin, etc. are now paying for their sins in eternity, under the control of our Lord & his only son, Jesus Christ!!!
I am all for diversity in thought, religion and life itself, until tyranny is imposed by men upon other men!!! End of story!!!
Leave it to Buchanan to decide that Putin, a man who stole $75 billion from the Russian people, is an epitome of the great leader of the Christian family. No doubt Putin’s pretty girlfriend helps to secure Pat’s vote., too, for Christian family man and leader of the year. And then, there is Putin’s corrupting of the Orthodox Russian Church and its leadership. His mistreatment of other Christian faiths has to add up as a positive since Pat’s always favored the bully. Naturally, the threats Putin’s behavior mean for the Poles would curry favor with Pat since Pat blamed the Poles for Hitler invading them in Sep 1939. Putin’s years serving the atheistic regime of the Soviets must count for plenty in Pat’s head. Putin served at least sixteen year’s in the KGB and reached the lofty rank of Colonel. Surely, God was on his side then. And now that Putin could end abortion at the stroke of a pen, well, let’s just say his family values is situational on that matter. Putin also helps those other great defender’s of the Christian family, the mad mullahs of Iran. All and all, Pat’s new hero fits well with Pat’s worldview.

I’ve pondered this a number of times already. Were a new Cold War dichotomy to arise, I can certainly no longer take for granted that America will be counted as the same positive, moral force as it has throughout its history. With America jumping headlong into embracing such deviancy as fag-marriage, and purging Christianity from everyday life, the whole dynamic is becoming different.

I do not believe it’s as simple as God being for or against geopolitical nations. He raises up the wicked to do His work, just as he raises up the good to do His work. Scripture clearly teaches He’s on the side of His elect, those called according to His purpose, the true Israel of God, wherever they may be found.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
I am sick about what has happened to this once great country of mine. I view it as the direct consequence of abandoning the quidance of the Almighty.
The thought has entered my mind lately that there is nowhere to go to escape the decadence that seems to be taking over. Or is there.....? Exodus....?

America is in moral decline. This is a fact. The signs are all around us.
The first tax in America was an “educational tax” in 1636 when Harvard University was founded to train clergy. Clergy were the first school teachers in America.
This law was later expanded and became known as “THE OLD DELUDER SATAN ACT” and the tax expanded to set up schools for all villages that 50 or more people to teach the children to read so they could learn to read the Bible and defeat the old deluder, Satan.
This worked pretty good for 300 years but then in this country we started throwing God, and prayer, and everything Christian out of our schools. We can now fairly ask...

Joshua when doing recon around Jericho ran into The Angel of the Lord. (a pre-incarnate appearance of Jesus) and Joshua asked whose side He was on. The angel replied he was on the side of the Lord, and Joshua fell down and worshipped knowing he had an encounter with the Holy.

Amen to that! One has to use his/her brain and wonder how come the “former” commies turned the greatest defenders of the orthodox Christianity? The KGB very cleverly picked an issue - rampant homosexuality, that the Western elites have been ramming down the throats of the population, and have used it to declare that if a person is opposed to anything that Putler does, he is pro-homo, sorosoid, you can insert here any Kremlin talking point. The same argument that the left uses in this country. If you oppose Obama, you must be a racist.
I also am expecting Putler’s brigade on the FR start with the talking points any second now.
