“What is your issue with Opera?”

A few years ago - nothing. Now it is just a pretty facade built over a google engine (and therefore I am certain it has all of the backdoors and holes that google puts in its software.)

While it is becoming more and more difficult, I still try to avoid google as much as possible.

Sadly, you’re right...

However, it’s still worth shooting at the target that is currently most visible and in range - right now it’s Firefox.

Thanks for the links...

I was looking for a way to let them know how I felt.

Search for Pale Moon. It uses the Mozilla source code, but states that it is in NO way affiliated with Mozilla. The add-ons work too (along with greasemonkey, if you ise that here).

I get that, but not sure that there’s not ONE browser alternative.

I installed Pale Moon, transferred all of my bookmarks, and was browsing in less than five minutes. Working great!

Got rid of Firefox this morning.

I'm a bit slow today. I just unpinned Firefox from my taskbar and am now using Opera. In a bit, I'll flush Forefox completely.

It should be interesting to see if there are any differences in the user stats for some of my websites. I'll compare March user stats with April's and report back. Firefox usually registers as a significant percentage of my users' browsers.

I really don’t give a hoot whether the purveyors of any particular product are liberal or conservative, but what Mozilla did is unforgivable. I have uninstalled their products from my computers. I am using Chrome because the extensions are very good, especially Ad-block plus.

I’ve never heard of Noia Skin. What is it, and what does it do?

Wow! Gayzilla is getting hammered with negative feedback.

Yep. They're about to hit 22,000.

Awesome browser. Get it. You'll love it. Identical to Firefox, only faster.

Just downloaded Pale Moon to one of my less used machines and am going to play around with it. We really do need to decide what we are judging though - technical ability or company philosophy.

While this Pale Moon browser seems technically competent, I wouldn't go thinking that the M.C. Straver fellow is a Christian, right wing, conservative, supporter of the second amendment. It appears the guy is very talented, but has some strange ideas about art.

Has many options to make it personal. Rounded/squared tabs, different colors (I prefer darker.. easier on the eyes).. Many. Just look it up, I believe they have screenshots ;^)
