How should Democrats deal with Obamacare in 2014?

For Senate Democrats running this year in Republican-leaning states, their struggle with how to deal with Obamacare's unpopularity left them biting their nails a bit harder after President Obama announced Tuesday that the health care law hit its 7 million enrollment goal.

While the White House continues touting the benefits of the law, polls consistently show more Americans disapprove of Obamacare -- a disconnect that's not helping as Democrats try to fire up voters in their effort to fend off a potential Republican takeover of the Senate.

But at a time when the economy is overwhelmingly viewed as the most important issue that the country faces, Obamacare could be the deciding issue of the midterms if Democrats allow it to be, pollsters and strategists in both parties say.

Dead wrong.

Look at the popularity of the plan even among their base. The party is a coalition, and Obamacare is literally killing people. As in already happening. As in no longer projected to happen which was the case when the Findlaw.com legal blog (no way to call that site a bastion of conservatism) deconstructed the bill three years ago.

The longer this goes on before the plug is pulled the more permanent the damage will be.

Mind you, I think they will soldier on with it. The globalists now in charge of the party may push us into civil war in a last ditch attempt to form a socialist state, but the increasing armament of the populace together with the impending collapse of the European Union makes successfully doing that problematic.

Important to keep the numbers in mind.

Since enrollment started six months ago, close to 15 million low income folks have signed up for Medicaid (free) or heavily subsidized policies.

They are basically happy, and they outnumber the angry folks who lost their old policies by at least 2 to 1.

All the Democrats have to do is repeat the “Mend it, don't end it” theme again and again, and urge the MSM to stay relatively quiet about the worst problems and the worst predictions.

We already know that the GOP leadership has no plan to repeal ObamaCare, and the GOP has no compelling alternative health plan to replace ObamaCare.

I think the Democrats are home free on this issue for 2014, and I predicted exactly that several months ago.

If the Democrats can find a way to turn out their non-white voting base for an off year election, they will easily hold the Senate, and they will take back a couple seats in the House.

The Dims will not let go of 0 Care. If the pubbies repeal it, any of their stinking marxist programs like The Great Society and Social Security could be repealed. The myth the dims promulgate is that once their program is enacted, the program can never be eliminated. This idea needs to be broken and 0 Care is the perfect candidate.
