If they tried to do what he is proposing, the blowback woukd be so immense that it would threaten all the gains they made. There is a lot of people who support gay marriage but not the homo lifestyle.
They could lose those people very easily and that is basically what Saletan is warning about along with Andrew Sullivan.
In the end, the gay lobby, while vocal, is still a tiny minority and they rely on the patronage of others for their support, once they expose themselves widely as bullies, they lose a ton of support.
Purge anybody who donates to any Republican, or who votes for any Republican.

I would imagine that Eich will be getting a chunk of change for his part of the business. Were I he I would use that money to sue the web page, Mozilla, it’s remaining officers and board members for defamation of character. It doesn’t meet my definition of satire. He’s calling on progressives to go “ALL IN” on a campaign of destroying those who oppose their agenda. He and other progressives are smelling blood in the water and are marveling at their success in destroying this man.
