There is no hope for owning or fixing the GOP. People have said that for 30 years and every election they go further left.
No one buys a business whose brand is wrecked and holds no value. It is a waste of money best spent on a viable candidate or starting from scratch. Had people listened years ago we would have that viable entity today. Instead they kick the can every cycle and then scream when someone calls them on it.
Well, where is the fixed GOP they promised for 30 years now? Where is an indication the GOP is more conservative than 2 years ago muxh less 20?? Were any feet EVER held to the fire?

Romney was the vastly overwhelming choice in the 2012 primary but lost because the 3 million so called conservative purists stayed home......simple as that.
Romney was Romney and everyone who voted for him in the primary knew that.......I knew that and that's why I voted for another candidate.
But I didn't stay home and pout and complain, I knew damn well he was better than Obama and that's why I supported him.......
