Here's what happens when you 'vape' hashish for TV
CNBC ^ | 4/8/14 | Jane Wells

Posted on 04/08/2014 9:37:39 PM PDT by Drango

In a report I did on the marijuana business, I focused on a company called mCig, which sells a hybrid between an electronic cigarette and a joint. Basically, the $10 device takes anything from "dry herb" to oil, heats the substance to the edge of combustion and creates a vapor, or a vapor/smoke combination, that can be inhaled.

To demonstrate the product, we asked mCig COO Mark Linkhorst to heat up some mCigs and vape them on camera. It was all done legally in a medical marijuana setting. Linkhorst is allowed to do this under Washington state law.

First, there was "take one."

Then we asked him to do it again.

And again.

And once more.

You can see the entire process condensed in the video clip. The cameraman and I wanted to make sure we had the best shots, not really understanding until the very end how much hashish Linkhorst was ingesting. Finally, after four takes, it dawned on me that perhaps it was time to stop.

"I'm feeling very medicated right now," Linkhorst told me. "A lot more relaxed than before I did the interview."

Really? How did the white guy in Washington turn into the black guy meth-user in Kansas?

He was born in Kenya!

:^)

First of all, the police found marijuana in his system at the time if the arrest. Not meth. Second of all, the link is not so much the color of their skin, but rather the marijuana they toked. But I’m sure you already knew that.

Well thanks, I guess. So would I be considered an “enabler” because I disagree with the war on drugs?

I view smoking marijuana in the same sense as drinking drain cleaner. I think it’s a damned stupid thing to do, but I don’t see that the government has a legitimate need to smash down doors to prevent people from doing so.

Then came the 60’s and 70’s and 80’s , and so much of that virtue went down the dope toilet .

Yeah, because everybody drinking like fish and smoking like chimneys in the 40's and 50's made America a paradise on Earth.

I am constantly amazed at the selective memories of some people.

I don't get invited to parties. Well, more accurately, I don't get invited to parties a second time...

you have a point about the drinking and smoking ( tobacco)

America needs to find a sober base again , not swayed by the intoxicant du jour . But really , while certainly some drank , not all were drunks and drunks had little impact on the greater social fabric at large . They were just disgusting within their own little circles ( if they were more than social drinkers ) Smoking tobacco evolved over several centuries and resulted in many respiratory deaths , but again little impact upon the very social fabric beyond their own little world ( and second hand smoke) Drugs however : everything from MJ to LSD , from dmt to stp , from coke to smack , they have far more rended the social fabric and caused an entire generation to think in a ‘different’ way , a less respectful way , a less engaged with both our national future and national history way . While precious few became committed farmers , many people turned into avowed leftists and almost all , and the children they spawned and who now in turn propagate their own children ; ALL tend to vote Democrat and think nothing of the vile ravages upon America by Obama and his minions . They don’t support the U.S. military , rather condemn it , just as they did in their stoned out youth , when they uber dissed returning troops from Vietnam . None see the direct correlation between the goals and aims of the Frankfort School euro-commies , and how they played the drug card and infiltrated the educational system in our country . To this day . Their Alinskyite strategies are succeeding . There is a nexus to the now causal attitudes towards recreational drug use and drug intoxicated lifestyle . Talk to any typical 20’s something stoner and you will know .

Where in the -hell- is ‘medical hashish’ legal???

In twenty states plus the District of Columbia. Not to mention Colorado and Washington State, where non-medical (recreational) marijuana is legal.

“America needs to find a sober base again...”

Again? It sounds like you never heard of the Temperance Movement or Prohibition. Drugs have been a social problem throughout our history with social drinking arguably the worst of all.

Tell me, do the innocents killed by drunk driving affect the larger society or does it just affect the little social circle of the murderer like you posit?
