THE BUNDY DAUGHTER SPEAKS OUT ON GOVERNMENT TERRORISM AGAINST HER FAMILY! (Nevada Rancher)
America's Freedom Fighters ^ | Apr 9, 2014 | Clark Kent

Posted on 04/10/2014 11:32:07 AM PDT by xzins

By SHIREE BUNDY COX:

I have had people ask me to explain my dad’s stance on this BLM fight.

Here it is in as simple of terms as I can explain it. There is so much to it, but here it is in a nut shell.

My great grandpa bought the rights to the Bunkerville allotment back in 1887 around there. Then he sold them to my grandpa who then turned them over to my dad in 1972.

These men bought and paid for their rights to the range and also built waters, fences and roads to assure the survival of their cattle, all with their own money, not with tax dollars.

These rights to the land use is called preemptive rights.

Some where down the line, to keep the cows from over grazing, came the bureau of land management. They were supposed to assist the ranchers in the management of their ranges while the ranchers paid a yearly allotment which was to be use to pay the BLM wages and to help with repairs and improvements of the ranches.

My dad did pay his grazing fees for years to the BLM until they were no longer using his fees to help him and to improve.

Instead they began using these money’s against the ranchers.

They bought all the rest of the ranchers in the area out with their own grazing fees.

When they offered to buy my dad out for a penence he said no thanks and then fired them because they weren’t doing their job.

He quit paying the BLM but, tried giving his grazing fees to the county, which they turned down.

So my dad just went on running his ranch and making his own improvements with his own equipment and his own money, not taxes.

In essence the BLM was managing my dad out of business.

Well when buying him out didn’t work, they used the indangered species card.

You’ve already heard about the desert tortis.

Well that didn’t work either, so then began the threats and the court orders, which my dad has proven to be unlawful for all these years.

Now they’re desperate.

It’s come down to buying the brand inspector off and threatening the County Sheriff.

Everything they’re doing at this point is illegal and totally against the constitution of the United States of America.

Now you may be saying,” how sad, but what does this have to do with me?” Well, I’ll tell you.

They will get rid of Cliven Bundy, the last man standing on the Bunkerville allotment and then they will close all the roads so no one can ever go on it again.

Next, it’s Utah’s turn. Mark my words, Utah is next.

Then there’s the issue of the cattle that are at this moment being stolen. See even if dad hasn’t paid them, those cattle do belong to him.

Regardless where they are they are my fathers property. His herd has been part of that range for over a hundred years, long before the BLM even existed.

Now the Feds think they can just come in and remove them and sell them without a legal brand inspection or without my dad’s signature on it.

They think they can take them over two boarders, which is illegal, ask any trucker. Then they plan to take them to the Richfeild Auction and sell them.

All with our tax money.

They have paid off the contract cowboys and the auction owner as well as the Nevada brand inspector with our tax dollars.

See how slick they are?

Well, this is it in a nut shell. Thanks”

I read her statement earlier. She does a great job of presenting a long and peculiar situation, and one which illustrates the government’s war against small and independent operators as opposed to corporate latifundia.

“while the ranchers paid a yearly allotment which was to be use to pay the BLM wages and to help with repairs and improvements of the ranches.”

She certainly had that in the right order. Here in NJ we have to collect tolls just to pay toll collectors; it certainly isn’t being spent on maintenance.

I spent a year in New Jersey split between Ft Monmouth and Ft Dix. Toll collector is probably the leading job in the state, isn’t it?

I started to get nervous they’d put a toll booth on my front door.

Isn’t this crazy conspiracy talk? Why is this even being discussed? None of this could really happen here. Did you hear all those people she’s saying have been bought off by our angelic government? That’s just crazy. It could never happen here.

Right?

Clearly, the greatest political issue overshadowing all other political issues is the size of the unconstitutional $4 trillion federal government which threatens our freedoms, our livelihood, and our very existence and which needs to be cut by 80% (that leaves an $800 billion government, still too big, but its a start). The GOP also needs to go back to school and learn about the FREE MARKET ECONOMY which ran things very well for over a century around here. The free market economy IS THE ALTERNATIVE to Obamacare and big government. No other political issue comes close.

No way it could be about something besides tortoises. The government said it was about tortoises and our government would never *lie* to us. That would be a conspiracy, and conspiracies can’t happen here. It’s just crazy for anybody to even suggest such a thing.

I’m really glad you didn’t suggest such a thing.

It’s not his land. His cattle are grazing on federal land.

At the end of the Mexican-American War in 1848, Mexico and the U.S. signed the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo which granted title to that land to the U.S., for which the U.S. paid Mexico $15 million.

Sixteen years later in 1864, Nevada became a state. A provision of the Nevada Statehood Act of 1864 promised that Nevada would disclaim all rights to the unappropriated public lands lying within its boundaries, and that such land would remain at the sole disposition of the United States.

Cliven Bundy has no legal right to graze his cattle on federal land without permission. When he stopped paying grazing fees, the federal government sold his grazing rights to the Clark County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan.

In short, the U.S. bought and paid for that land. It owns it. It makes the rules on it. Article 1 section 8 of the Constitution specifically enumerates Congress the EXCLUSIVE legislative authority in all cases whatsoever. State law does not apply. County law does not apply. Cattle Barron law does not apply. Open range law does not apply. The ONLY law that does apply is US Federal law.

Another case where the government is doing more harm than good. The case for ‘over grazing’ is dead wrong.

The worlds leading expert on desertification has come out and said that the belief the over grazing leads to desertification is backwords, it’s actually large herd grazing that stays off desertification, and can actually reverse it.

I have read the daughters letter and her attempt to use emotional language to inflame the passions of conservatives is beyond the pale. The fact remains that the land belongs to the US Government. The Government gets the same rights of determining how that land is used. Just as Bundy gets to determine how his 150 acres that he OWNs, is used.

My great grandpa bought the rights to the Bunkerville allotment back in 1887 around there.

Who was selling permanent grazing rights to federal land in 1887, and doesn't that statement contradict Cliven Bundy's public statements and filed legal claims that the property belongs to the citizens of the State of Nevada?

Is there a legal document, which would be handy, given that Nevada is a 'color of title' state?

If the great grandpa bought the rights to the Bunkerville allotment back in 1887, how does that address Cliven Bundy's grazing of cattle in the BLM's Gold Butte area, and the National Park Service's Lake Mead Recreational Area, as well as the Bunkerville allotmen area? When Bundy quit paying grazing fees in 1993, he was grazing cattle only on the Bunkerville allotment.

Some of these people are REPUBLICANS, after all - and we know that the political system has NEVER been able to buy co-conspirators with mere MONEY! You must be another one of those crazy conspiracy talk people, who believe that humans are corruptible and that government can conspire against its own citizens.

I bet you’re so crazy you actually believe that all those millions of Europeans actually stayed silent while millions of Jews, handicapped, elderly people, and dissidents were burned in ovens right before WWII.

You must be CRAZY if you think that the regime would target Free Republic just because it’s the center of conservative debate and gets lots and lots of hits. This place is impenetrable because the people in charge are all-knowing and could NEVER be tricked by somebody posing as a conservative when they’re really a government shill. You’ve GOT to be batsh!t crazy to not take everybody at face value here. If they say they’re conservative, gol’durn it, they must be conservative.

Go someplace else with your crazy conspiracy talk. Leftists have such a keep sense of justice and decorum that they would NEVER invade a private enterprise and seek to manipulate public thought in such an underhanded way!

Wow, some people are just so crazy. Why can’t they just play the political tapdancing games that all the OTHER sites and posters are playing? Sheesh. You’d think we were in a war for our survival or something, and there could be double-agents and saboteurs amongst us...
