EPA coal rules leaving US vulnerable to power blackouts?

The elites are insulated from the fallout of their policies. Al Gore flies around the planet on petroleum wasting private jets. He is then chauffeured to his conferences and speaking engagements in gas guzzling armored limousines surrounded by gun toting bodyguards.

When the brownouts become common in urban areas electric utilities will be ordered by the feds to inflict the pain on the sprawling suburbs and not the urban core.

I have a liberal acquaintance who wants the government to force utilities to shut down all fossil fuel and nuclear power plants and replace them with solar power. When I suggest the billions this will cost will be passed on to the customers of the utilities in the form of much higher bills he assures me the government can force the shareholders to foot the bill so the customers won’t have to pay. When I ask him how solar farms will provide power at night he tells me windmills will provide power at night. When I ask what happens when the wind isn’t blowing at night he looks at me like I’m an idiot.

There are too many sheep today, educated in public schools, who believe what the propagandists in the media and any Democrat government tell them. They are incapable of reasoning on their own. They see no hypocrisy in the behavior of wealthy Democrats while they chant the talking points on the evil Koch brothers. Unfortunately, the republic cannot survive when fools control the ballot box.
