NATO’s media offensive makes Russia stop and think

As of this weekend, the Ukrainian government seems to have finally lost control of wide areas in the east of the country. On Friday, its ultimatum to separatists who had taken over government buildings in eastern cities expired, but it launched no operation to dislodge the gunmen.

On Saturday, buildings in more towns were taken by force. The organization and coordination leave little doubt that these people are inspired and directed by Moscow, similar to the situation in late February in Crimea before the Russian invasion and annexation of the peninsula. But Russian troops have yet to be seen in eastern Ukraine, and recent reports of an imminent invasion, based partly on Western intelligence, have yet to come true.

NATO is convinced that the Russian military buildup on Ukraine’s borders, now under way for at least six weeks, is no exercise but comprehensive preparation for an invasion. Since Ukraine isn’t a NATO member and most of the alliance’s members, led by the United States, have no intention of intervening militarily on Kiev’s behalf, the hands of the world’s most powerful military alliance are tied in the event of an invasion. Instead, NATO is trying to keep Russia in check with a media campaign.

On Thursday, the NATO press office published satellite images showing the Russian buildup, which includes hundreds of tanks and armored personnel carriers, not to mention attack helicopters and fighter jets, deployed at airstrips near the border. NATO’s top commander, Gen. Philip Breedlove, tweeted: “Russian forces around Ukraine fully equipped/capable to invade. Public denial undermines progress. Images tell story.”

The footage was bought from a satellite company instead of culled from military spy satellites, which allowed NATO to prove that they were up to date. When the Kremlin said the images showed a large exercise that had taken place last year, NATO published more pictures proving that the bases set up for Russian troops did not even exist before the beginning of last month.

Yes, critical media reports from NATO probably have Putin cowering in the back of the horse barn.

Or is he in the planning room polishing up his new strategy to roll NATO into the Baltic?

Probably neither (although Russian plans for the Baltics already exist—it’s tank country, and they can take them over in hours). I just found it funny that what RT was “reporting” didn’t quite turn out to be reality.

That’s the trouble with doing something wicked. It’s like the proverbial Lays potato chips. You can’t eat just one.

There’s something bigger than Putin behind this. It’s Satan.

A Nazi who pretty much leaves Jews alone, if the WJC has it right.

Satan is also behind the complacency of the West.

Apparently, it might even be knowingly. I’ve been doing quite a bit of reading lately, and discovered that the Occult is really big in Russia, even amongst government officials and military generals, as well as political philosophers with ties directly to Putin, who appear on Russian state controlled television. Alexandr Dugin is the great example of this, who, apparently, is a big fan of Aleister Crowley, the Satanist. He also apparently believes in Nazi-like tribal religions emphasizing the Russian people and ethnicity. And there are major government officials in Moscow who, apparently, casually claim that the Russian people are the true heirs of the Aryan tribe, and declare the importance of making this fact known to children in history lessons.

Remember Aum Shinrikyo, those kooks who used Sarin gas in the Tokyo subway?

They had a huge following in Russia, and they even had a program on Radio Moscow’s World Service, I know this, because I even heard it myself, the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard in my life.

We thought it was a scandal when Mrs. Reagan read the horoscopes. It’s worse in Russia?

I’ve been hearing some news from a friend, a member of a church where I used to go before moving to a different geographical area, about what’s going down in Ukraine spiritually. They’re praying in the public squares, both Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant. Almost the direct opposite. She agreed with me that when evil is right at one’s doorstep, that’s the ultimate wake up call from God.

Ukraine might surprise the world here. It will suffer, but if firm enough in the Lord may not lose after all. Russia’s madness may consume Russia.

Also, it’s pagan and occult ideas that brought German Nazism to madness and then to a humiliating defeat. The Jews took it in the nose in the process.

he Communist regime at least was an equal opportunity squelcher of spirituality. With that gone, it’s gone mad.

A great deal worse, apparently! Not just astrology, but every sort of weirdo pseudo-science has its run in Russia, in universities, "philosophers," tv programs, and even to the highest levels, with Shamanism, Theosophy, and all sorts of goofy stuff, and scary stuff, among people of power, creating policy! I have constantly been thinking through all this that Russia is very much where Nazi Germany was prior to WW2. The rhetoric and other circumstances are very very similar, and I fear we really might be on the verge of another world war. They've actually been preparing for war for many years, while we, on the other hand, have been disarming.
