I guess I’m the only one who thinks the feds won. The state governor chickened out. The sheriff chickened out. They abused protesters. They used attack dogs. They confiscated cattle. They left at a time and place of their choosing.
And they lost?
...and no one really knows the disposition of the confiscated cattle!

Don’t agree with anything else you said, but it is clear that neither the Governor nor the Sheriff had their “big boy pants” on. Might want to drop them a note to let them know what you think of them. I did!

Yes. The Feds lost bigtime. They were there, with guns, and now they are gone, because the other side was armed also and called their bluff. This is the precedent for all future confrontations, armed local militia willing to stand up against the Feds and and make sure the standoff is in front of cameras for all to see.
I love this man Cliven Bundy and his brave son Ammon. No more perfect example of what the men of this country with women at their sides should be. Real men and real women. Real Americans.

But they didn’t kill Bundy. That was the plan I suspect.

The centrists were stopped well short of their goal by armed citizens and then retreated humiliated.
To paraphrase Churchill....or plagiarize him....It is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. It is, however, the end of the beginning.
The people have learned that played wisely and maturely, they are feared by the Feds, even if only meekly supported by state and local officials.
There will be a next time. Here or somewhere else. Both sides will continue to test.
But for the first time in a long time, the people stood and the Feds folded.

Yes, they lost. They capitulated. They surrendered. And it is not over for them. There will be repurcussions FOR FREEDOM that are long lasting as a result of this evil attempt of the Feds to take what was not, is not theirs. Some 5,000 armed freedom lovers were there, and more are arriving daily, even after the Feds surrendered and left.
Yes, the Feds lost this battle. There may be more...more for the Feds to lose. We the people must stand together.
