Boehner’s tea party primary challenger accuses him of ‘Electile Dysfunction’ in new ad [VIDEO]

House Speaker John Boehner’s tea party primary opponent J.D. Winteregg is releasing a new parody ad Monday accusing Boehner of “Electile Dysfunction.”

WATCH THE NEW AD HERE

“If you have a Boehner lasting more than 23 years, seek immediate medical attention,” according to the online ad, which seeks to nationalize Winteregg’s fundraising ahead of the May 6 Ohio eighth district Republican primary. (RELATED: TheDC Interview with J.D. Winteregg)

“The intent [with the ad] is to nationalize this thing. He’s everyone’s speaker. He’s my representative, yeah, but he’s America’s speaker. We want to get my name out there and tell people there’s an alternative,” Winteregg told The Daily Caller Sunday night, outlining a “two-pronged approach” that includes a fierce ground game in his district and also a national fundraising campaign. It’s a strategy, according to his veteran Republican campaign consultants, that worked for Scott Brown in 2010, as the unknown tea party favorite mixed district door-knocking with a national drive to provide the forty-first vote in the Senate to block Obamacare.

Winteregg, 32, needs between 40,000 and 50,000 votes to defeat Boehner in next month’s primary, which is expected to draw about 85,000 Republican voters. Boehner is now paying workers to go door-to-door disseminating information, including some targeting Winteregg. The underdog gained traction after an endorsement from the Tea Party Leadership Fund PAC, which found that only 25 percent of Boehner’s own Ohio constituents still support him when he’s paired against any no-name challenger.

Look if you are a liberal as your posts many times reveal, why not just be honest with yourself and the rest of us. I know it will be difficult to take off the mask but it must be done. If this is not true than your morals are very low at best.

I cannot perceive of anything more infantile and childish that voting for RINO Republicans over and over again, yet somehow thinking this ‘one last vote’ will result in something different.

“Let me apologize for the FREEP prude patrol - humorless sad sacks, who in their phony self righteousness, don’t even fully understand the genius of this ad.”

I pay no attention to them. Elitest aristocrats need to be ridiculed and I welcome it.

You're obviously a terrible person! (lol - see my tagline).

Satan is the false accuser….you have just falsely accused me - so ST_U or back up your claim. Right now….naps…..put up or shut up. You can’t come up with a single shred of evidence that I’m a liberal.

If you think having a sense of humor means being liberal, that explains a lot of your absurd posts over the years…..but I’m serious, you need to put up or shut up right now!! I am far more conservative than your man crush Ricky Santuckabee ever thought about being.

A liberal would bash Bachmann and Santorum at any possible time. You do it constantly. Two very very conservative people and you bash them. That is my proof. Royal Flush.

Well, not so much elitist aristrocrats here on FR, as it is the prudish humorless shallow and melodramatic santuckabee niche patrol.

I don’t assume I know anything about him or his entire ad campaign, but I don’t believe semi-crude humor, based on the mispronunciation of someone’s name, is much of a winning tactic.

You are way over your head mr. bureaucrat. A: I didn't BASH them in this thread, in fact, I complimented them on having more of a sense of humor than you have. I said they're humorless, but that's nothing but an accurate definition. B: I bash them at times because I think they are poor representatives of conservatism as Presidential candidates. I fully support Bachmann for Congress, and for her being in the public eye. She was a terrible prez candidate. I also realize that Santorum is not a true conservative, something your sweater vest man crush will not allow you to admit. He's a pro union pro enviro pro GOP e (when it suits him) cynic……you see a beautiful family and swoon like a school girl and your brain immediately freezes up in a blush of infantile emotion.

If this is your "royal flush" - you are not playing with a full deck. Which we knew.

He didn’t mispronounce the name….and besides, your post assumes you know with your chilidish taunt “is that the best you got?” YOu remind me of eric holder and “dont go there buddy”

Again, you can feel how you like this ad is not going to be effective for anyone other than the choir. Any lift this might give him in a primary will hurt him 3 to 4 times as much in a general.

The fact this ad was made at all shows exactly how inept this guy is as a candidate, and basically plays right into the perception that the tea party are a bunch of low educated dullards.

As long as this is the tact that some tea party candidates are going to take, they will never be able to be more than a fringe footnote.

You can’t be claiming you are standing for some higher moral belief, like limited government, fiscal responsibility etc etc etc and then be putting out ads like this one, or the turtle one. Completely undermines any claim to higher moral goals.

Infantile and self destructive.

Actually, I wasn't saying his ads were anything of the sort you imply. My original comment was based purely on humor.

It was your transition into the meme of Tea Party has to do anything/everything to be perceived as credible to be taken seriously.

After your reply, I merely pointed out the childish and infantile tack of most muddled Republicans in supporting chronic RINOism. Same thing in my book, really.

It is armature and Kindergarten behavior. Certainly not acceptable for a Conservative candidate.

************************

Immature. An armature is this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armature_%28sculpture%29

I think the objective is to step outside of the sullen and dour defeat script the GOP owns.

Anyway, Boehner is manifestly impotent.

Surprised a conservative would go down this road. Seems he could have used a different direction. I hope this guy does not win. We don’t need nastiness as part of the Conservatives IMHO.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Well, you might want to keep your “humble” opinion to yourself. That mind-set is probably why Conservatives have been getting our butts kicked in Primaries and Generals for the past few years. But, after reading your tagline, I understand where you’re coming from. Might be time for the Evangelical Right to realize that neither Jesus Christ nor Paul the Apostle are running for office in America; just real people who understand that we live in a “real” world (as sick as it may be) and adjust thereby. Jesus ate with publicans and sinners and performed his first miracle in Cana at a wedding where people were on a 3-day drunk. He never would have fit into your, Santorum’s or Bachmann’s political party.
