It appears Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy has, at least temporarily, wonhis "range war" with the paramilitary wing of the Bureau of Land Management. Fearing another Waco, BLM has announced it will no longer enforce a court order and stop stealing Bundy's cows, called "trespass cattle" by the feds, accused of grazing free on part of the 84% of Nevada that is federal property.

THE State of NV never relinquished their rights to the property, the Fed Gov took them in conflict with the Constitution.

If you want to don some tinfoil, this would be an excuse for the power elites in this country to ‘arrange’ something like a massive power system failure. That would eliminate 90% of us and the remaining 10% could be dealt with easily.

Well until they can get a SWAT raid organized and take the guy out for good.
Very well-written editorial. Informative and insightful.
But this is NOT over.
I think the only reason the feds backed down is because the Reid connection came to light and the political consequences to the Dems got too high. So somebody made the BLM back down, but I bet they are furious about it.
And Reid isn’t going to give up his payday. He’ll just find another way to do it. Backdoor it through someone else, start talking land incrementally so no one will notice, something like that.
Regardless, this isn’t over, and there will be fallout from it.
I just called my congressman and suggested that a solution to this is for the federal government to transfer title of all open land now under federal control to the respective states. The individual that answered my call indicated that others had made that suggestion.
Our federal overlords would rather see most of us dead before they gave up their own personal fiefdoms. I suspect they’re working on that little end right now.

Here's one that shows why the Sheriff of Clark County is duty bound to keep the BLM and all Federal agents from arresting Cliven Bundy.

More like, they never expected the reaction and they thought they had any reaction that DID occur corralled - literally - in a plastic fenced area they called "your 2nd amendment area" where the people would be well removed from the actions of the jackbooted.
But they were dealing with cowboys. Cowboys are real men - they can think for themselves and they aren't easily 'cowed'.
They also never expected hundreds pouring in from around the country - and then the line of mounted cowboys, sidearms on their hips, riding towards them - along with the people on the ground - AND the up on the "highgrounds" - embankments, with guns, were hundreds more.
WAs it that they wouldn't fire on their fellow citizens - or were they scared stiff and wanted nothing more than to get outta there?
I suspicion the latter.
Now, someone in the know and with connections inside theBLM says they're planning a late night raid on the ranch itself, once the people still there helping out leave. These are the kind of outfits that like to work, like rats, in the dark of night.
