The race is over!

The race is over!!!

Haven’t you heard? Lindsey Graham is going back to the US Senate!

If you read tales from the New York Times and watched MSNBC lately that is what you may assume.

However, here on the ground in South Carolina, reality for the senior senator is very different. Recently, public polls have shown Lindsey Graham with less than 50% support from members in his own party, and all of his high priced campaign ads are falling on deaf ears with conservative voters who know the truth about Senator Graham.

The fact is voters are wise to the beltway games that establishment republicans play. Politicians like Graham vote with Harry Reid and the go along to get along crowd in DC, and then call on the special interests to fund their campaign season makeover to sell them as one of "the folks" every election year.

But Graham can’t raise enough to cover up ALL his liberal votes:

• Voted to bail out big banks - $700 billion

• Voted to confirm liberal justices to the Supreme Court (Kagan, Sotomayor)

• Voted to continue debate on Obama's anti-gun agenda

• Voted to increase taxes by $600 billion

• Supported arming rebel elements in Syria including radical jihadists

• Voted for amnesty without securing our borders

• Proponent of NSA spying program

We cannot allow the Washington, DC political machine to control this race and dictate the outcome with the help of the elites in the media. The current power structure believes they can simply tell us how to vote, and, in turn, we will buy what they are selling. NO MORE. We are here to take our country back and return to the Constitution and commonsense conservative government.

We can't do it alone though.

In liberty,

Nancy Mace

Did he? Then I shouldn't have posted this. Didn't really think of her email as an ad but rather a statement of her positions vis a vis LG.

I think Jim’s rule is that we shouldn’t post campaign contribution requests. So Nancy’s email would be okay if you removed that part.

I think the part at the end asking for donations is what wasn’t wanted.

I can see where if that was allowed there would be nothing but stuff like that posted. FR would turn into a billboard for those collecting donations.

I’m not sure, but I think I read that here. That’s why I just pinged the mod.

Will do. Soon as I figure out how.

Incumbency is always difficult to run against.

Even harder to beat a voting machine, that your opponent controls.

Voting machines and absentee ballots are a tyrants best tools along with a compliant media, who could doubt the outcome of elections.

Time to suck it up and concentrate on beating Democrats.

I think that is what they are trying to do. :)

There are a handful of very good candidates running against Graham, and all but Mace have promised to support whoever gets in the run off with Graham...

I asked her about this yesterday and this is her email response this morning:

Hi R2z,

Thank you for your question. I would be doing a disservice to the thousands of people who have raised their hand to support my campaign if I were to wave the flag of surrender in the middle of a fight. I cannot think about, let alone even talk about, losing.

I appreciate your question, and I hope I can earn your vote (and maybe some gas money too) by our primary on June 10th!

Sincerely,

Nancy

That doesn’t pass muster. No one is raising the flag of surrender. What a bunch of consultant pabulum and double speak. This is asked in every primary. Normally only the Paul bots renege.

I don't think any of the other candidates who took the pledge "waved a flag of surrender". They're still campaigning the same as before the pledge.

Seriously, do you find this answer to be acceptable and satisfactory?

I was hoping for a better explanation. But she is a fighter.

Not likely. Her campaign is primarily an anti-Graham campaign.
