That is the only way, I am surprised with Brewer.
Remember to hang the collar on a choo choo train or 18-wheeler.......or some dim’s ride.
“Thats what I would do if I lived there, but I meant what is their law with respect to self defense, if it involves a 4 legged wolfie?”
Well, when it comes to the survival of me and my family, the law ends up being immaterial. You can’t fight the law from a pine box!
BTW, Brewer is an empty shirt. I don’t know who AZ is going to have for their next governor but the could improve on Berwer, McLame, Flake, etc. For a state with excellent gun laws, I am surprised at the trash they send to Washington.
Well of course, I understand the sentiment. No way a person is going to just sit by and let a wolf devour a member of the family.
I just wondered how stupid their state law was when it came to this issues, or whether they had some common sense in this regard.
Its going to be Colorado in three years.”
Been going out there since horses had the right of way in Scottsdale and there were no stop lights anywhere.
Love skiing in the Snow Bowl, great golf courses around Scottsdale, the Grand Canyon, Snoopy on his rock in Sedona, four wheeling through Rock Creek Canyon. Went to the most beautiful and spirit filled Christmas candlelight service service I have ever attended last year in Scottsdale. The one state that has it all. Just makes my heart hurt. No reason for it to go lib if your Governor hadn’t forgotten where she left her spine.
She’s wrong. Everywhere else a rancher or farmer is allowed to protect his livestock against wolves.
Works for me. That would look good in cartoon form. Howza ‘bout The Far Side?
I love it too. I’m 30 miles north of Scottsdale. Cowboy country. Not a day goes by where I don’t marvel at the beauty of this place.
But it’s growing fast, and the transplants are coming from all the wrong places. I hope I’m wrong, I have no interest in leaving here.
She burns me! Recently, she vetoed a bill allowing people with conceal carry permits to bring their personal guns into “gun-free” zones like schools and government buildings. I am sure that potential killers have noted them to be “soft- target” areas.
Let’s hope we can broom her out with a good conservative governor, instead of this wolf in sheep’s clothing.
The area really has grown, particularly compared to the early 1960’s when I was first there. We decided to check out some property that was for sale when we were out there. Found a ranch called Kickin’ A. Believe it was close to Cave Creek? Fell in love with it. Wish I could afford to move back.
Fav place to eat has always been Pinnacle Peak. Been going there when we’re visiting for at least 50 years. There were no paved roads back then and no signs to direct you, you just sort of wandered around up a dirt road and when you came to something that looked like a bunk house in the midst of a working cattle ranch you were there. No menu, you just sat down and they brought you a beer, huge medium rare steak cooked on an open grill outside, a bowl of beans and some bread. Awesome food. They had all the cut off ties hanging from the rafters even then. Glad they have kept it as a family owned place and maintained at least part of its origin.
It’s just so sad to see so many parts of our beautiful country being ruined.
No. The Mexican Spotted Owls flew them in.
Absolutely, no wolf deserves to live.
How can a state/governor pass laws on what happens on federal lands?
it’ll take em 2 years to figure out why that wolf was running at 65mph
“I just wondered how stupid their state law was when it came to this issues, or whether they had some common sense in this regard.”
Don’t live in AZ so I can’t definitively answer your question, but like most states to one degree or another AZ probably comes down on the side of the wolves. The only exception they are likely to “carve out,” is allowing cops to shoot your family pet when he/she comes running over barking to give them a lick while wagging.
My guess is, a piece of paper will not save the wolves nor will it make dishonest people honest. The wolves are at the mercy of those who would eliminate them (again).
There is that unwritten rule that says, “SSS” (shoot, shovel and shut up.)
Solution to Arizona's problem: shoot and let lay! (Or, bury, if you feel the need)
Not one that is eating your livestock or threatening your family.
