I’m counting on a new party to vote for in 2016.
“How about Jeb and Crispy as a ticket? That would really do it”
Oye Ve!! LOL!
just wait until the dems completely run the show and then you will see what damage is.
Take your Ross Perot fetish and stuff it.
“Read my lips, no more Bushes”
Comments? Yes.
The libertarians don’t share our social values.
The Constitution Party isn’t really serious. (I know from experience.)
A third party really must be built from the ground up and not the top down. It takes time and it’s the only way to get around the Constitution’s provision that Congress selects the president if the Electoral College doesn’t have a majority.
So, the only alternative that I see for quick impact is for a caucus to be formed within the current Republican party that marches to a different drummer: votes differently, disagrees...even nominates it’s own candidates if necessary and runs a write-in campaign as republicans.
One would hope! I am done with the GOP-E. For the past several election cycles, I have been donating to individual candidates. No more money for the RNC, NSRC, congressional republican groups, nor state party.
Not gonna happen, but of course the strategy of the left is always: “Divide and Conquer”!

Extrapolate to the expected vote for Jeb.
You do know Romney got a million more votes than McCain, right?
If The RINO-Republicans gave us Jeb Bush for president—or Christie—the Tea Party Might walk—vote 3rd Party or form a new party—or take over an existing 3rd Party—like the American Independent or Constutional Party. Or just stay home. I can’t see it—but look what happened when they put up Mittens?
How many fewer votes? It looked like Romney got 2-3 million lessvotes than McCain. I wrote at the time: "Additional votes are stillcoming in, but, as of the time of my writing, Romney receivedaround 57.8 million votes in 2012. In 2008, John McCain received59.9 million. Romney got over 2 million less votes thanMcCain."
More votes remained out there. Nonetheless, when the final countwas tallied, I figured that Romney would still receive fewer votesthan McCain.
Well, the final count is alas approaching, chronicled by the2012 National Popular Vote Tracker, maintained by DavidWasserman. And it has a rare flicker of good news for Mitt Romney:He has surpassed John McCain's 2008 vote total.
The latest near-final tally has Romney with 60.6 million votes, which is higher than McCain's 59.9 million votes. That's the goodnews. The bad news: It's not a lot higher than McCain's total, andcertainly not high enough to have overtaken Barack Obama. In fact,Romney's total is only about 1 percent higher than McCain's."
Late votes?
Since there are actually 50 state elections rather than one national election, final vote tallies are always tardy.
Here’s official US government results (links to .pdfs):

http://www.fec.gov/pubrec/fe2012/federalelections2012.shtml
Short version: 2012, Obama with 66 million votes, Romney with 61 million votes; 2008, Obama 69.5 million votes, McCain 60 million votes.
It couldn't happen soon enough for me.
Something needs to blow up the old order and fast.
A bad candidate like Jeb Bush?
I admit his face was in my mind when I typed that.
