Ex-IRS official Lois Lerners attorney said that a vote to hold her in contempt would be un-American. Lerners lawyer Bill Taylor wrote in a letter to House Speaker John Boehner and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor that a contempt vote would be unfair, and indeed, un-American.

[eyeroll]....cause what's more American than revering the IRS? Oxygen thief!
No doubt Bonehead will agree as it only affects the Tea Party or other conservative groups.
Meanwhile, I believe what she did to the american political process is more than just unamerican, it is blasted treasonous. No she should not be held in contempt, she should be hung as an enemy of the state.
As far as I can tell no one knows what American is any more!
She’s lucky it’s not Sharia Law!
Masters of projection.
Listen you impudent unrepentant fool, you can not obstruct Congressional oversight.
Good. Now vote to hold her lawyer in contempt also.
Lerner’s ilk always use the line that the people they hate and are attacking would be violating their own principles if they fought back or defended themselves.
Congress NEEDS to jail her.
Bless his heart, he’s a special kind of stupid.
Another pimp of the legal and political industries talking through his butt hole!
This shriveled up old hag should be in jail.
“Lerners lawyer Bill Taylor wrote..... that a contempt vote would be unfair, and indeed, un-American.
But deliberate targeting of conservative groups by the Lerner and the IRS, that’s American!!
Of course Bonehead and Cantor will cancel the vote at Lerner’s
demand.
Lois Lerner is un-American, so it fits.
So to flip this logic on it's head, it fair and American to target Tea Party organizations
Gotcha... I wonder if these people actually think about what they are saying before they open their yaps
I’m no lawyer but, if “Bonehead” votes agains’t the contempt charges wouldn’t he be assumed to be agreeing with the conspiracy and subject to also be charged as supporting the act?
