NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar attacked the collective outrage emanating from America’s media over Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s alleged racist remarks, calling the publication of a private conversation “sleazy” and wondering why earlier, more public manifestations of racism failed to similarly shock.
In an op-ed published in Time, Abdul-Jabbar explains that we’re witnessing a veritable “finger-wagging Olympics . . . all over the latest in a long line of rich white celebrities to come out of the racist closet.”
“Yes, I’m angry, too,” Abdul-Jabbar admits, “but not just about the sins of Donald Sterling. I’ve got a list.”

WTF! (In a good way) read Kareem whole statment he does seem to really get it or more to the point has a principal he following.and not the crowd....
So, here the NFL players, and the NFL “leadership” and the so-called “black leaders” are castigating an owner because of his racist remarks, and no doubt because of his racist feelings.
Yet, the NFL players and the “black leaders”, never fail to mention that, the NFL is made up of about 80% black players. If the tables were switched and the players were 80% white, they’d be screaming “racism” against the composition of the league, and attempts at “affirmative action” to get more blacks into the league would have occurred decades ago.
The only reason that the NHL is mostly white and no charges of racism haven’t been lodged, is because there aren’t enough blacks (or Hispanics) interested in the game.
Racism is something that democrats and liberals “perfected”, and now they’re using it to win favor from the “victims”. Yet, the owner of the Clippers is a democrat, which just goes to show that, if the conversations had not been taped and made public, the latest accusations against a democrat owner would not have been aired. It’s all a matter of being proactive and making sure that there is no backlash against democrats for not having taken out Sterling a long time ago.
Finally someone who is able to think rationally and not emotionally. Just because a man’s private opinions are recorded and exposed by a gold-digging harpy doesnt mean he should lose his property or livelihood.
I understand the remarks were made during a Phone Call between Sterling and the Slut.
In CA, both parties need to give consent for publication of the conversation. Why is the Slut not in Jail?

I think the old man simply didn’t want her to advertize her latest bedfellow to the world by posting with him on twitter or showing up with him at the games.
Gold diggers like to agree to open relationships but are usually discrete about their side affairs, but this gal was out to throw it in his face....she is the one who made it a race issue....he didn’t if one really listens to the conversation.
She simply pulled the race card for the news it would get.....it was a pay back for his wife’s suite against her for ripping off the family “jewels” in more ways than one.
Do a check on the girlfriend and she's really scum....likes to play the wealthy old boys for what she can get...just another gold digger. "All in the lifestyles of the rich and famous"...this is just another Bollywood, Hollywood moment.
So the left wanted to string up Linda Tripp because she dared to tape conversations with her friend Monica Lewinski. They told us what was recorded wasn’t important, especially since it showed Clinton telling everyone to commit perjury, and that Linda Tripp was the real villain in the story. Now they suddenly don’t care how the info came out, even though it’s a crime in California to tape someone without their knowledge. More of the left’s hypocrisy on display.
