We Must Do It For The Children
The Relevant Christian Magazine ^ | 4/30/31 | Chuck Ness

From the beginning of recorded history, humans have made monumental decisions based upon the needs of their children. Some parents would move far away from the land in which they themselves were born and raised, because they wanted their children to have a better chance in the world.

The Pilgrims, who left England, and many who followed them, came to America both for religious freedom, and a better future for their children. Many may remember the television series based upon Laura Ingalls Wilders’ novel, Little House on The Prairie. It’s the story of a man who moved west so his family would have a better future.

Today, Americans are more active in politics than the Ingalls were, and unlike England which the pilgrims left, we have the right to vote for who our leaders will be. Those would-be leaders have become deft at knowing what buttons to push for our votes. More often than not, these political candidates run on platforms that promise to benefit the children. Come Election Day, millions of citizens vote for the politician who has convinced them that they care the most about their children’s future.

Before Obamacare, President Johnson signed over 226 different bills of legislation that began what he touted as his “Great Society.” The Welfare Program was among the slew of new programs supposed to benefit only those in poverty who had children. It was a promise to end poverty as we know it, but sixty years later the poverty level in America is higher than it was when he signed the legislation. Along with the destruction of the family, almost 50% of Americans today collect a check from the federal government.

Like Obama, Johnson needed enough Democrats in Congress to write the legislation he wanted to

Using children in scare campaigns is one of the most powerful weapons of modern politics. The left is so good at it, they probably win over 50% of their elections based upon the fear that children will suffer from some unforeseen problem if their opponent wins.

Here is one of the political articles I wrote for TRC magazine on the way our children have been used to get us to vote away any chance they have of being free in the future.

This was the effect of Wundt psychology which is used by the Leftists since the discovery of the effect of Edward Bernays (1910) on forcing the masses to smoke (women in particular).

John Dewey curricula was embedded with psychology—though it had been very subtle at that time. Dr G. Counts and Dr. Ruggs were Marxists who were designing textbooks in the 30s to develop “group think” and eliminate individualism—thinking outside the box and autonomy. Learn dependence and to obey an authority (government).

Psychology is embedded in everything, now-—and the drugging (pharmaceuticals companies) are a part of the mind control-—and the destruction of Free Will and autonomy and Virtue (morality). It is planned and targeted at the minds of our children in “schools” and using TV, even radio and music since forever.

Worldview is implanted by what you see and hear in early childhood and “normal” can actually be flipped, if these people get your child early. John Dewey stated he needed younger children when the mind is “plastic”.

You control the worldview of the children-—and you own them for life...filling them with anything other that Classical Education is all agitprop. Only Classical education gives the tools to actually use Reason (and think clearly).

“The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the child, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.”

I knew most of this, but it was nice to see it all in one place. Well thought out and written.Nothing in here can be disputed by anyone that has the remotest knowledge of history

“Johnson needed enough Democrats in Congress...”

WRONG.......Republicans made Johnson look good and they do not get any of the ‘credit’

Yes, but before the election Johnson did not know he could count on Republicans to help. So he was looking at getting as many Democrats elected as possible, thus the plea to parents with children.

After it was all said and done it turned out the Republicans did what he could not get the Democrats to do, but I am speaking of before the election.

You apparently are not old enough to remember the 60s or any of the campaigns. Republicans were anti sending more men to Viet Nam as advisors, we concerned about the escalation of the size of government, and we very vocal about the mistreatment of various peoples....

You cannot deny the power of the political ad.

You also seem to wish to deny the evolution of using children in politics didn’t start in the 60’s.

Did I say that was the main difference in the election? No I did not.

My whole point was the genesis of using children as a wedge issue to get the vote began in the 60’s and the left has since perfected it.

Thanks, :)

You know, I have read your work. You are very good.

If you are ever in the mood to write, the publisher is looking for someone to write about senior Christian issues.

Not trying to insult you, but you are very blessed and I think you have something you could share.

Think about it. The magazine only has three editions a year right now so the pressure isn’t the same a daily blog or even a weekly thing.

Well think about it.

God bless,

:)

You seem to think that using children in ads began out of no where in the 1960s. Apparently you have not studied the campaigning in the 1800s. The slurs and slogans and use of any defenseless human (women, children, idiots, etc) was rampant.

There is NOTHING new under the sun. The left has ‘perfected’ being lying liars. Until we address issues head on nothing will change
