“Rogue” soldiers? Is that another way of saying Mexican soldiers who are the payroll of the cartels?

Who cares about the Mexican army invading the US? What's more important is what's going on over in Ukraine! /sarc

Then in March, they opened fire on Javier Jose Rodriguez, a young Tucson man visiting family in Sásabe when he was driving around the town early on a Saturday morning after drinking beers with friends. Rodriguez was shot in the arm and in the side, he spent three weeks at University of Arizona Medical Center. People who enter Mexico should *always* expect the worst.I'm far more concerned by US citizens of any sort,Border Patrol or common citizen, being fired upon while in the US.I occasionally visit a town in northern Vermont that borders on Quebec. In fact when there I go to a place *right* on the border (you can easily see the signs posted by the Canadian Immigration Patrol) and yet the Canadians have never fired on me.

Could use a Blackjack Pershing, but he would have been run out of this Army.

When I travel from DFW to Phoenix to visit GrannyBuckeye, I take the northern route through New Mexico instead of the southern route through El Paso.
The last time I did take the southern route, I stopped at a McDonalds just this side of the U.S. border for a break. From my truck in the parking lot, I watched a very large transfer of drugs between two 18-wheelers. Armed men were watching from a stand of Mesquite nearby. They weren’t trying very hard to hide.

There’s nothing rogue about the unit.
They’re doing what the Mexican government (i.e., the smugglers) want them to do: push as far into the U.S. as they can to establish just how far they can go without being challenged.
That will tell them what they and their masters control. If it involves a little softening up - like shooting some of the locals - then fine. If the Gringos don’t respond, all is good.
For them.

A fence will stop that. /s

Armed men were watching from a stand of Mesquite nearby. They werent trying very hard to hide Naw. They own the local police chief and sheriff typically. Another fine by product of Affirmative Action. Usually some guy whose last name ends in "-ez".
Was driving down I-8 between Casa Grande and Gila Bend last year. Saw a party of about 8 dressed in black walking along the highway, backpacks with water. Maybe armed, maybe not.
Clearly had just crossed, waiting for their ride. No concerns, out in the open.
Ho hum. Just another day on the "border".

This is what happens when you have a weak leader. Soon Mexico will be demanding the whole Southwest be returned to them and Obammer will be happy to comply. The rogue army is just a test to see what happens.

They also might be doing what Obama's open borders agents want and further enable the invaders.

Sásabe is in Arizona. This story's byline is "SASABE, SONORA".I always thought that "Sonora" was one Mexico's provinces.Or am I missing something here?
