Too Much Tequila? Pelosi Tells Republicans – Celebrate Cinco de Mayo With Amnesty
GOP the Daily Dose ^ | 4/5/14 | Rick Wells

Posted on 05/05/2014 1:09:02 AM PDT by Impala64ssa

inco de Mayo is just an excuse for Americans to consume more Mexican food and drink. It’s nothing more than that. Even for Mexicans in America, it isn’t a day they celebrate.

That didn’t stop Nancy Pelosi from seizing upon an opportunity to pander for Latino support. In what was surely a research project for one of her aides, she put out a statement on Friday imploring the heartless Republicans to pass amnesty on this “important day.”

Most Americans don’t celebrate any holidays in the way in which they were intended or designated. They are paid holidays from work or a chance to make some extra money for most. A fake holiday for folks from another country is just an excuse for a fiesta. Pelosi issued the following statement anyway.

“On Cinco de Mayo, we remember the courage and heroism of a poorly armed Mexican militia that, in 1862, and in defense of their country, their rights, and their future, defeated the imperial French army in the Battle of Puebla. Since that moment of valor, we honor the history of our friends and neighbors to the south and recognize and celebrate the contributions of Hispanic Americans across our country.

“As we look back on a seminal moment in history, let us also look forward to the best ways we can continue to embrace the diverse heritage and rich history of Latinos in the United States. There is no better way to acknowledge the important contributions to our country of America’s Latino community than by enacting comprehensive immigration reform.

“Whether on Cinco de Mayo or on any other day, the time is now for comprehensive immigration reform that honors the values of our country, strengthens our economy, and provides an earned pathway to citizenship. And the time is now for House Republicans to emulate the bravery demonstrated in the Battle of Puebla, recognize the importance of immigrants and family unification, and give us a vote on a comprehensive bill that reforms our broken immigration system.

There’s no reform in the comprehensive bill, just a new bow on the old package that her president isn’t enforcing now. Nancy could start a new tradition of her own this May 5th. She could set aside one day a year to tell the truth.

Nancy, you silly slut. Please realize that the only people that listen to you apparently reside in your district and are on some kind of drug that renders them incapable of thought. Have the good grace to act your age, which seems to be at least a 100, and go off and curl up and die.
I am sick of you old women who equate age with wisdom and feel your views are somehow important to us normal people. They are only listened to by others who reside in your communist bubble. So take Harry, Debbie, Sharpton, Feinstein, Bloomberg, Gore, Grayson, Biden and all the others, form a mutual suicide pact and just do it. In my bubble we are sick of having you inflict your ‘68 views on the rest of us.

It already happened in 1986. Now Pelosi should thank Reagan and follow thru on the border security Dems promised.

Make a deal with the country of origin for each trespassing foreign national that they be willing to exchange on a one-to-one basis a native born American citizen.

Heck, I might even take one of theirs for half a felon.

Pelosi needs to explain exactly what she means by "comprehensive immigration reform."

Reform should be a two step process where the first step is to secure our borders to stop the influx of illegal immigrants. This influx was greatly increased by the immigration reform and amnesty given in 1987, to the extent that we now have 20 million illegals vs. 2 million. Stop the leak before you bail out the ship!

The second step in immigration reform is to gather up and deport all the criminals and terrorists now in this country. Another part of this step is to come up with a compassionate and fair plan to deal with the hard working, tax paying illegals who are contributing to our economy, but that is fair to those legal immigrants.

Please explain how you are going to do this, Nancy, in plain English.

But the French ended up winning that war.

She'll be in Washington as long as the fruits and nuts in her district put her there, i.e. until her drum-tight face falls off.

They hardly even celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Mexico, it’s mostly an illegal alien holiday here in the states. When illegals are caught they should be treated much like cartel drug dealers in that all their illegally gotten property (anything bought with money they’ve made while here) should be confiscated by the police.
