Obamacare Rationing = "Death Panels"Take a look at this op-ed by a registered nurse discussing the strain Obamacare is putting on medical professionals as they scramble to accommodate an influx of new patients. This is one ingredient in the recipe for disaster that will lead to rationing. As I warned people from the very beginning, the danger of any government controlled or enforced health care law is rationing. Rationing happens when you increase the demand for a limited good or service (in this case health care, which is limited because we have a limited supply of health care professionals) while at the same time artificially capping the price of that good or service for people who would normally have to pay more because of pre-existing conditions. The end result is worse care, rationed care, and ironically more expensive care for everyone as all our premiums go up. Obamacare is unworkable. As we’ve said all along, health care reform needs to be grounded in patient-centered and free market-oriented common sense that allows people to find the care they desire by giving them more options, not fewer.

When folks control the money that goes to Healthcare for an individual, they contol their lives, so yes, their is a death panel and they will decide on what procedures you can have medically. It all will eventually come down to a cost benefit analysis when the Government controls the outcome.

I have heard the very same from other medical professionals and in my own experience since ObamaCare took effect, I have noticed more patients in my doctor’s office.
Not only are there more people in the doctor’s office, many of the people there are the type of people that you would not expect to see in a good doctor’s office.

Tangential topic. The latest VA fiasco in AZ where patients died waiting for treatment and there was a secret waiting list.
Where are the Republicans screaming, “This what single payer insurance looks like!” Hopefully, they were and I missed it, but I doubt it. Anyone read about a Republican making this connection.
Because you know as Obamacare becomes more and more unworkable, the Control Freaks will say you’re right Obamacare does not work, we need single payer.
During the Clinton 90's I was in touch with shall I say a distant relative uber liberal who was always trying to land Gov't contracts. While discussing the then Clinton floated S & P 500 investment without options with your SSI money, the Honest Liberal said: "You think SSI is ****** up, you should see the VA".
That stuck in my mind and make me wonder about that Dept, and yes you can't talk about it, it is IMHO an even bigger 3rd rail than SSI.
Could this Dept be a proving grounds for Free-Market reforms ( HSA's etc for those in service, and Vets a VA without Walls if you will ) for non related War Injuries that require Special Treatment?
Where is the Jack-Kemp-ish positive individual to talk up such an idea in the GOP? Their is no one like that now, the closest one is Paul Ryan and sad to say has been turned into baggage.
