The EU and US have threatened further sanctions against Russia if it tries to disrupt the 25 May presidential elections in Ukraine.
EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton and US secretary of state John Kerry issued the warning at a press briefing in Washington on Tuesday (6 May).
Ashton noted that following an agreement on de-escalation made in Geneva in mid-April, the EU put on hold measures that we were considering on economic sanctions. But she added: When we saw that we were not getting the results from Geneva, we pressed the start button again and weve continued with those measures. And were looking at all of the possibilities.

Is this like the red-line in Libya, the red-line in Syria, or the red-line in Bosnia? And who exactly will be the red-line warrior, geek, troll, or court-jester in the red-line game? Will be using Theodore Roosevelt-red line rules, or Prime Minister Chamberlain rules, or just make up rules as we go? And can everyone play in red-line, or are we limited to just Russia, Ukraine, EU and the US?

Well, obama did say he’d have more flexibility after the election, so my guess is that’s all the red lines he see’s are from bending over and grabbing his ankles while all the blood rushes to his head.
