Unreal: Liberals Threaten to “Assassinate” Trey Gowdy Over Benghazi
Conservative Tribune ^ | May 7 2014 | Conservative Tribune

The truth can be dangerous. Some extremists will go to great lengths to keep the truth from coming out, even if that means threatening harm to United States Congressman Trey Gowdy.

Remember, it is Trey Gowdy who will be leading the House Select Committee into what really happened in Benghazi. Liberals fear that Gowdy, a highly successful prosecutor, will uncover the truth.

That is exactly why threats of harm have been made against Congressman Gowdy. Liberals want the truth to remain hidden so they can protect Obama and Hillary Clinton from facing the consequences of their actions.

POLITICO reports:

The U.S. Capitol Police are investigating threatening emails against Rep. Trey Gowdy, the South Carolina Republican recently tapped to lead a special panel probing the Benghazi terrorist attacks.

The investigation comes after POLITICO reporters and journalists at other outlets received two emails on Tuesday warning that Gowdy would be harmed because of his role in investigating the 2012 attacks.

The Capitol Police would not comment on the scope of the investigation but Officer Shennell Antrobus confirmed that there is “an active, open investigation.”

This is not the first time Gowdy has been threatened. As Politico also reported, “In 2012, a woman approached Gowdy with a gun while he was sitting in his car in Spartanburg, S.C.”

[H/T: Washington Times]

We hope the Capitol Police get to the bottom of these threats. This is a serious matter, both because Gowdy was threatened and because it was likely an attempt to dissuade him from getting to the truth.

Gowdy will not back down, and neither will we. Stay tuned for developments in this story.

If you support Congressman Gowdy’s investigation and think these threats against Gowdy are reprehensible, please like and share this on Facebook or Twitter!

Why blame the GOPe? LOL, because he was their go-to guy. Every single talking head moment, their lead guys were talking about Romney being the only serious candidate. Then they would talk about the weaknesses of the others.

They not only had their fingers in that pie, they were all the way up to their arm pits in it.

You are conveniently ignoring the FACT
that in spite of 100% support from GOPe Romney
never received over 30% of votes in all important
primaries. Only after his nomination became inevitable
he received more votes.

Which proves that GOPe can not control elections.
It is the republican voters who control elections.
Money does not guarantee wins either.
Even the CEO of eBay lost after spending huge amounts.

The only Reason Romney won because conservatives have
no unity. Santorum and Gingrich acted selfish.

In a primary setting, it’s not unusual to see vote percentages remain low. If even three people are running, and they each get one third, you’re still going to be in that range. When it’s four, five, or six it’s a given the break-down will be less than 30%, unless you have one popular person, and Romney wasn’t that popular. Conservatives were very leery of him, and rightfully so.

I still maintain that when you have Bill Crystal and other talking heads talking down Conservative candidates and only talking in terms of Romney being the only real serious candidte to be considered, it’s going to move the vote. When the RNC players enter the picture and say some of the same things, or trash Conservative candidates, it either moves vote or supresses vote. Carl Rove being the media darling he is loves to trash the Conservatives. He goes on FoxNews, trashes them, and esstentially goes unchallenged, played off as a sage and someone who is infallible.

Then scandles ‘mysteriously’ surface. Care to make any educated guesses where those come from, when the RNC and the leading Republican talking heads are trashing the best candidates? My perception is that the RNC knows where all the dirty laundry is kept.

As for Gingrich and Santorum, I tend to agree with you, particularly with Gingrich. He was a real pain in the arse. I tend to give a Conservative a bit more leeway hoping they’ll catch on.

Look these are my take on things. It isn’t important to me that everyone else buy in.

Thanks for the response.
