I did indeed Sally Forth today - a productive day at the Office. During the course of the afternoon I developed a cough for which I will have to see the Dr. in the morning. I remain extremely fatigued.

Traffic abates after Memorial Day, but I have observed that year after year the abatement diminishes. It is becoming insignificant. In the second half of August, there is still a noticeable decrease when the Feds leave town.

The afternoon commutes have been brutal this week - my customary route is still bottled up from flooding that occurred last week and the alternates are not much better.

Mrs. MacNessa's uncle died Monday - we're heading out to the Delaware Shore Saturday for his funeral. Kind of ironic - we used to go to the Beach on the first or second weekend of May. His funeral will be in the church we attended there. He was a Vet - Coastie IIRC.

Maybe you need a sheep or goat to help.

Now that would be funny, I could see the town going crazy now, no permit for a goat, no special use permit etc... My neighbors would enjoy it and laugh with me.

Thank you so much, Kathy, from Mrs. MacNessa and me. His name is Bernard "Stan" Tinsley - Uncle Stan to us. He walked Mrs. MacNessa down the aisle at our wedding over 25 years ago and was very dear to Mrs. MacNessa and all her family.

He was a Cold War Veteran, God Bless him! He will rest in the Veterans' Cemetery in Millsboro, Delaware.

Seeing that Osprey flying, it occurred to me that despite spending a good part of my life near military bases and right now seeing helicopters daily from Ft. Rucker, I have never seen an Osprey. (The plane not the bird).

Good evening, Luv!

*HUGS*

Indeed - until they all come Home! The news of the last few days has hit me hard.

It is obvious to me that "our" government could care less about our Troops, serving or vets or retired. I am old and weak - but I promise you and every other man or woman who serves or has served this Nation that I will do whatever I can to preserve our Freedoms.

And I'm working out!
